Jonas Åckerlund directed the video for Paul's 'Lonely Road', as well as the video for Circus, by my favourite female artist, Stina Nordenstam.

Wembley Empire Pool, London  (Wings) 21st October 1976.

'Take It Away' video shoot Elstree studios, London 23rd June 1982.

'Give My Regards To Broad Street' film premier, London 29th November 1984.

Docklands Arena rehearsal concert, London 5th February 1993.

Run Devil Run launch party, Equinox Club, London 30th September 1999.

        O2 Arena, London 22nd December 2009.

        O2 Arena, London 5th December 2011.

The movie is going to have a very sad, tragic ending though.  It will be very dramatic though. Not that I'd wish that to have happened to Eppy for the drama. Moments of great joy and happiness too, giddy times of mindblowing success and triumph.  He deserves this creative recognition and remembrance, holding as he does a special place in many hearts.

I envisioned Ronan Farrow starring as Eppy ! They're both young, handsome, Jewish (half Jewish in Ronan's case) and Ronan can do accents--and maybe he's inherited acting talent, from his mother Mia and grandmother Maureen O'Sullivan.  After all, yankee Renee Zellwegger got to play "Bridget" in the Bridget Jones movies. This could be more payback for  an English actress playing Scarlett O'Hara !  Also, Farrow's a musican; plays guitar, sings, writes songs. He's "rather" accomplished (understatement) and could even, right now, fill the position of POTUS ! Mercy me

Shouldn't this topic be in "Yesterday" or  even"Broadcast"?  Eppy's a huge part of the Beatles' history. To state the obvious. Which has been called "The Greatest Music Story Ever Told"...

I thought there'd be more excitement over this announcement in here, at this site, than has been shown. I know, it's "only a movie" but wasn't "Nowhere Man" pretty doggone good, about Lennon's origins and early days. Sort of inspiring. And "Backbeat" is quite artsy and evocative.  I haven't seen "Two of Us" about Macca and John's friendship, but I'd wager it's effective. Striking.  Paul's just had a cheesy, superficial (somewhat) t.v. movie so far. And "Two of Us." He deserves more. And of course his vanity project "Broadstreet." It has its moments. John and Yoko's story  was depicted in a telly movie. There's that  cinematic "trifle"  "A Hard Day's Night" (classic). Even "Help!" is amusing.

I've a feeling "Midas Man" will turn out quite artsy and striking. As worthy as "Nowhere Man" and "Backbeat." And "A Hard Day's Night" though more serious and dramatic.

Yesterday is just for the individual Beatles and Broadcast is just for Paul stuff, I think. So there's no real good forum for Brian Epstein. ☹️

Ronan Farrow? Where did you pull him out of a hat? 😂 The guy needs to be thinner with dark wavy hair. David Angus, who played him in "The Hours and the Times" is too old now at 63 to play him. He was good in that 1991 movie.

P.S. Two Of Us was okay, but the guy they got to play John was fugly (that's f-ing ugly!) They should have used my friend Tim Piper who played John in The Linda McCartney Story. Aidan Quinn was pretty good as Paul.

Farrow is most certainly "thin" and he could color his hair, there's such a thing as hair color...oh I don't even know if he'd be interested. In playing Brian.  I know Eppy deserves someone very special to portray him. The poor guy just made it to 32 years old...such an enormous loss...why couldn't he keep his hand out the cookie jar. There he was in swinging  London and a key figure in it all. Even with the Fabs not touring he still could have played a part in their lives and careers, couldn't he?

I thought "Yesterday" here is for other Beatle people too and not just the Fabs. Well, it's no biggie. I've just seen other Beatle peeps written about there too.

Ronan Farrow has a round baby-face and his hair is super straight. That's why I could never picture him as Eppy. Funnily enough, he is 32 years old right now! (and he's gay!)

yes, I know Farrow is 32 and gay, like Eppy, and he's half Jewish (Eppy's Jewish too).

With a last name of Epstein, you'd have to be! You know it's Linda Eastman's father's real name? Leopold Epstein became Lee Eastman.
