Great to hear that you and your son had such a great time! I've been taking my younger son to Paul's shows since he's four (1990)...we haven't missed a U.S. tour since! Doesn't get much better!
you are so right! Missed you tonight in Atlanta, great as usual. But I'm sure you already knew that!
Thanks, Phil...great to hear you guys had such a great time!! Nice review with photos from last nights show: http://music.blog.ajc.com/2014/10/16/concert-review-paul-mccartney-is-a-marvel-in-return-to-atlanta/

I know some of you have similar stories, but here comes one more ... I have a small, yet awesome collection of signed 8-track tapes. Peter Frampton. Gregg Allman. Elton John. Obviously, getting a Beatle to sign one would be like finding the Holy Grail. Immediately following Paul's encore at the Dallas show on Monday during the goodbyes, I took a chance and waved my copy of Revolver at Paul from the front row. His eyes got big, as if to say, "Wow, I haven't seen one of those in a while." With a smile, he then motioned for me to toss it his way. I threw it (across a lengthy security moat) ... he caught it ... signed it ... and threw it right back! Un-be-lievable. I'm still buzzing about it. Anyway, a woman next to me told me that she took pictures of the whole thing. I gave her my e-mail, but she hasn't responded. Is there a chance that one of you reading this may have snapped a pic? That would be the cherry on an otherwise flawless night. Thanks for taking the time to read!

I'm staying at the Best Western 2 miles away from the arena. Second Macca show in two years, so psyched. Just wish he'd drop EDAW as the opener.
Missed MMT opener by two shows....opened with it in Nashville last night.

Many of us who post here have been fortunate enough to see Paul many times. I think we sometimes forget what his show is like to the first time concert attendee. On Saturday, I went to the Heard Nature Preserve in McKinney with my family. I was wearing one of my concert shirts. A young man, probably in his 30's, saw my shirt and stopped me. "Did you go to the show on Monday? Wasn't it AWESOME! Best concert I've ever been to! Live and Let Die was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!" I love to hear the reactions from people who see Paul's shows for the first time.

I had such a great time at Paul's Dallas concert! I went to a concert by myself for the first time and loved it. I made a new friend to hang out with (shout out to Gen and her husband) who was as much a fan as I was and because I was sitting by myself I was able to move to a really great seat that was left open by a no show! I had a view that I had not had before, I was off stage on row B, I could see the floor audience having a great time and could see Paul's interaction with the band and the people behind the scenes. But the best was watching the roadies and his photographers singing along with all the songs and having a great time. They hear the songs over and over again but still had fun! I met a couple at my hotel when I got back who had flown from Ontario Canada for the show (they were maybe 30 yo!).
