Paul McCartney: Social Media Puts Pressure On People
Nice to read that Paul thinks that someone dying is important. Its probably quite important to them as well !!

Paul McCartney’s Gratitude
The world’s leading rock star breaks the mold by counting his blessings.
That was a touching story. So nice to read about positive upbeat attitudes such as gratitude and blessings and a great outlook on life.

This photo was taken the same day as the backwards one with the Gibson Les Paul that I was talking about.
What was the photo you were talking about? I didn't see all the photos you were mentioning. One in a garden that I didn' t see either. Is there a thread where all the photos from that photo shoot were posted?
You have to scroll back and read this thread. Jimmix posted a link where there was a pic of Paul laying across a bench with his Gibson Les Paul, but it was printed backwards. The article and photo can no longer be accessed for some reason. The photo (and the one I posted) are old and have nothing to do with the current GQ photoshoot.
This is the photo, correctly configurated. It was posted backwards on FB and I flipped it. The year given was 1987 - is that right?

Thanks so much NancyR, for flipping that photo! That was 1987? He has truly found the fountain of youth! This is a really nice photo very GQ!

I don't know if it is 1987 or not, that's why I asked. The FB poster labeled it 1987. (but also posted it backwards so I wasn't too keen to trust them on the date!)

As these photos have recently been used to illustrate articles on the Flaming Pie album, I had assumed they would have been closer to 1997 than 1987?

Maybe, but who knows? He looks much younger than he did in 1997 there and his hair is shorter. He's hard to pin down in the '80s and '90s.

Its true that there would be lengthy periods where he didn't seem to change at all. The 60's and 70's photos were certainly easier to date.

"Get yourself together now, and makes us something tasty" (wink, wink), just being a bit sassy or cheeky. He said he's been "sitting in a corner, working on some new songs."

Paul is truly the timeless man. His clothes may give clue to the era of the photo, however, the man remains perennially the same. This applies to his music as well. What we love
Looking forward to new music as well Susy!

its a good read
nothing new for Paul fans
thought the magazine would have touched on more about the change in fashion across Paul's career
Paul must love driving to still drive himself around, plus also retain his good eyesight.

I wonder if he's had LASIK or cataract surgery. I know I can see so much better and I've had both!
