I just got 4 tickets to the Candlestick show. I've seen Paul 10 times before -- including the Berkeley shows. The seats aren't great, but they are on the floor, so it will be a cool experience.
Dang it!! You got 4 together on the floor?! I don't understand how this works. How am I half way up the visitor side? And people who couldn't get in for 20 minutes are getting 4th row?
Random shows I do alright, but whenever it's an important gig to me personally, I never do well. ~sigh~ trying to be happy since I do have tix, I just soooo wanted good ones to this. -
Anybody who has gotten tickets get an email confirmation? I see them charged to my CC, but no email confirmation. It's probably OK, but I'm used to getting email confirmation for anything I purchase, usually within 1 minute.

I first tried for Silver VIP but that was giving me WAY on the other side of the field across the stage. I then tried for the $250 range and got Row 24 which I took. Not quite sure I get why the Silver VIP seats are so far away from the stage...

I got section A4 row 3, but I bought 3 together, so that probably put us off to the side section. Really excited to sit with my kids though!! That was nerve racking as all hell!

I had the same token and 503 problems with Firefox and Chrome. I didn't have any luck at all until I tried using a secure window. Then I finally got an A2 row 7, though I was only buying one ticket.

Just out of curiosity, did anyone get a Section B seat? That's what I was aiming for, but not a single one came up. I settled for Section C3.

OK, since I wasn't able to get tickets today, I'm going to go for the next pre-sale which is listed on Ticketmaster's site for Friday (not the American Express one), does anyone know what this is and how to get the code? I'm not even trying to get that great of seats, probably just the $100 ones since I'm taking my kids.

Those are probably reserved for the Amex sale or regular sale. Just my guess.

No idea, but best guess is right to left, since that's the way the section numbers go. But that's just a best guess.

Answered my own question, I believe it's the Another Planet Entertainment presale, hopefully I get the code on time, normally I get their e-mails days after the pre-sale has started

So I only got a VIP Package for the Dodger Stadium show earlier. I couldn't get through to Candlestick Park at all. Is there going to be another sale for VIP Packages for the SF show? I really want to get another VIP Package for Candlestick so I am hoping there is another release. What else is there?

no luck this morning, never came up empty with these presales. So any tips for the American Express Presale on Thursday? Does anyone know if it is through Ticketmaster?

I found the VIP packages for SF to be strange too. I was trying for two Gold seats and all I could get was selections on the sides in A2 and A4, but nothing in A3. Without knowing the seat numbering system, that made me nervous potentially being so far from the center. Now I can't pull up anything at all. I guess I will miss seeing him this year unless something strange happens.

Yes, they were very strange for this show. Silver VIP was all the way across the field from the stage when it should be offered after the rows when Gold ends... I said forget it and went for regular tickets and got row 24.
