Yeah I was looking for one of those last pick at the stick tshirts too..oh well I was surprised there wasn't any cd's of New for sale...I have mine obviously but would have been a good opportunity for more people to buy the cd...
I've never seen Paul's CDs for sale at any of his concerts, only his concert merch. I think sometimes Brian and Rusty's CDs are sold there though.

Who was the promotor of the Candlesstick Park Concert? Who ever it was did a very poor job of oganizing the historical event there. If someone has a name or phone number I would greatly appreciate it. Because of the poor logistics I missed the concert and I feel someone need to be accountable for that.

Hi Randy, Paula and Chris, We missed the whole show too due to traffic and no parking. I'm watching the pre season football game between the San Fran 49ers and Denver Broncos, and they just mentioned what a disaster trying to go to the Paul McCartney concert was. What a shame guys, what were the promoters and organizers thinking?

As one of the fans that spent the whole show in traffic 1 mile away from the stadium, I'm still in a state of disbelief and trying to get my $1,000.00 back (which doesn't include the $400 I spent on a hotel that we checking out of at midnight to get the heck home). I've emailed APE and talked to Stub-Hub and TicketMaster and the city of SF -- so far all to no avail. I've demanded my refund from APE and they asked me to email them my proof of purchase and ticket confirmation which I've done. They better respond in the next week. Now I'm considering flying down to San Diego to see Paul's show cuz the hole in our hearts won't be filled with the refund. My concern is that the next show will be as poorly managed? Has anyone ever been to Petco Park? I found a hotel .2 miles away... is it a safe bet that we'd actually be able to see the show this time?? In mourning but trying to find a way "Out There"... yes I said that..lol.. -Mette
If you get no satisfaction with Stub Hub/Ticketmaster, etc., try to dispute it with your credit card company. Good luck. That totally sucks.

I hope you get free tickets to the San Diego show as well as a refund. It is the right thing to do.

I saw that, too! I was surprised they mentioned it during the game. On a totally unrelated note, I just had a very nice flashback to the concert.....Paul wiggling his butt to the audience after he sang "And I Love Her". OMG...I literally swooned!

I was telling this to a friend earlier and said what other 72 year old man could get women to squeal and whoop and holler like that in a concert?

^^ fantastic picture!! And I'm just so sorry for everyone who missed the show. I can't imagine how utterly upset you must be. It's your worst concert nightmare. It seems that many many aspects of the event were grossly mishandled and mismanaged, with the worst obviously being the traffic and parking, resulting in people not getting into the show.

Those of you who were unable to attend the candlestick concert on August 14th at Candlestick Park and feel that you are due a refund, visit https://www.facebook.com/group.... We are trying to hold Ed Lee, Gregg Perloff and Another Planet Entertainment accountable for the terrible traffic fiasco that prevented thousands from seeing the concert.
