What a soundcheck is like. This was definitely one of the largest, I'd estimate about 300 people. Excellent time! Fourteen songs mostly not played at show. Candlestick was awesome! what did you use to do those, I want to get it too!I used a Ricoh Theta. It is a fun little toy. It is cool to see everything around you. Not a real serious camera. Will be fantastic if they can sharpen and improve resolution, but it is a fun toy. Podgie (no commission) Monkey

. This is a nice toy, and even at relatively low resolution, it gives a very good "feel" for the environment that stills or video cannot capture. Since we were in proximity, this really is just about what it felt like in those seats!PodgeTheBear:

I've been reading about how hard it was for fans to buy merchandise at Candlestick. Was it like that at other US shows this year?
I didn't think it was hard to buy at all. Stands were open outside starting at 3pm and were still open after the show. Perhaps specific merchandise was sold out, or not every item in every size was at each stand. From what I saw, lines were less than many previous venues.

At Albany...lines for merchandise were very long!

I've been reading a few things where it has been reported online and on the radio that Paul was stuck in the traffic jam and that's why the show started late. Paul was already at Candlestick and had been there for hours before the show, obviously since he had to do soundcheck and all, not sure where people are getting this info from! The concert started an hour late because he was waiting for more folks to get there and to their seats.

I think people are referring to the special Candlestick shirts. I went to one stand after soundcheck but before the gates had been opened. All they had were the t-shirts with the black picks, which is what I bought. That stand did not have any of the hoodies or the shirts with the red picks...i found out those were available after I had bought my shirt. If I had immediately gone to a different stand that was farther away, I could have bought all of the other items. My choice not to even tho I do like the red design better.
Can't say when the special shirts sold out but my friends looked after the show and of course by then they were all gone. -
