Another fake cover.
THAT…is terrible. But I have to say the one at the top of this page is actually quite believable! It could very easily pass as a genuine front cover.

.......and in case the McCartney lll album isn't released in December?

That last one was a takeoff of his New album I presume.

New album confirmed by Rusty in an interview (go to 34:49):

Rusty confirmed a new album is pretty much in the can, but we know very little else, including when it will be released. Stay calm, everyone!

Interestingly, the passage of this interview where Rusty mentions the new album has been mysteriously edited out. I hope Rusty hasn't got himself into hot water by letting the cat out of the bag!

Rumor has it that a new album is on the horizon!!!
I wonder how many versions will be released?

Just seen that for the "Sticking Out of my Back Pocket" playlist released today is about songs where Paul played all the songs himself. Could it be preparing for McCartney III or am I connecting dots that aren't there?

That was my first thought as well. I suspect it's a bit too much of a coincidence for it not to be a signal towards a McCartney III.

Isn't that strange?

Hopefully an announcement will come soon!

This link includes a short video that was apparently made during recording sessions for McCartney III:

The latest 'news' (sic) is that the album, still due in December, will feature new and older songs.

Great to hear some things about the upcoming album! But I was wondering; older as in written in the past, but only now recorded? Or more like covers or something?

I believe I've read that they are or were unfinished songs. Or maybe remakes of his own older songs.

Why did you write (sic)? What's incorrect about calling it "news?"

If I switch on the tv and watch the News then I'm watching a factual broadcast. I expect the same on the internet. The 'news' (sic) relating to the new album info isn't fact based, its just information that someone has reported which can't be substantiated. It might be correct,it might be incorrect. So I'm just passing it on as 'news'(sic) but don't treat it as a given fact.

Someone made the link to Paul performing 'Just Fun' recently, a very old song, which might be appearing on the new album. But that might just be a coincidence.

I get where you're coming from, but I guess in the U.S. anything new is called "the latest news" whether it's truly factual or not. Could just be a rumor. The proper use of sic is when someone writes a typo or error and you are quoting them.

True but I like to point out the potential error in the so called 'news'.............(sic).
