We'll be thinking and praying about his family this weekend. And his folk's epic scientific love story.

I love your choice of words, Jena! That's one of the things I admire in Rusty too. His incredible intelligence which comes thru his tweets too...not to mention his interviews...I always learn a couple of news words from them. His parents were a beautiful couple. It's such a sad news.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear this! ...both at once. Wow, now that's rough. Good in some ways that this is a busy time, I suppose. I hope that's helping in some small way.

Very sorry to hear about Rusty's parents and such a lovely couple! I hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July here in the U.S.A.

I did not realise what age Rusty is! I was just doing a little reading and I think he is looking terrific. I seriously thought he was only about 30. ops:

When did Rusty and Renee get married? I'm happy to read the two got married. Sad that he lost both parents within 6 weeks of each other. It's funny how couples who are that close, do seem to pass away soon after the first one goes. My SIL's mom just past away and they were married 72 years and still holding hands and husband always was so lovey dovey. We all should be blessed as Rusty's parents were, being so much in love. My condolences to Rusty and his family. Has to hard to put a happy face on, when touring. But then again, music is one of the best therapies for the soul.

A couple of yrs ago. I think being on the road and keeping busy helps a lot. Paul was also touring when his dad died in 1970s. These UK summer shows have been a huge success and you can tell from the Hyde Park youtube footage that Paul and the Band were really enjoying themselves and so was the audience. It is amazing when both the artists and the audience are so positive and giving. On a lighter note, listen to Rusty's brand new interview with Dean Martin here: http://www.mygoldmusic.co.uk/Article.asp?id=1868412&spid=38042 Some other great new articles: http://www.deseretnews.com/article/700046540/Paul-McCartneys-guitarist-flipped-out-on-music.html http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/entertainment/49863807-81/anderson-mccartney-band-album.html.csp?page=1

absolutely beautiful! thank you Kimsey I adore Debussy myself. I can definitely see Rusty as the kind of master who could successfully translate classical works onto guitar. Truth: I just want somebody to play the Flower Duet from Lakme for me :
