If Paul McCartney called me to work with him on a cover of "Three Blind Mice" I would be there, even if he only wanted me to play the triangle!

Since Nigel Godrich has produced most of "Radioheads" albums and Thom Yorke solo albums maybe it has something to do with Nigel and Paul really not liking each other that much. While CHAOS turned out very well, maybe Nigel had something negative to say about working with Paul to Thom Yorke. Have no idea if that is partly the reason but would make more sense then the reasons he gave for not doing it in the article.

Even if it's just to sweep up?
Really, if I had a chance to see Paul McCartney at work, I would say a resounding yes. That way I would not be seen or known and I would be able to immerse myself in his know-how

Sweep up, make the tea, you name it!
