Paul McCartney, Beck - Find My Way (BTS).

In this video Paul plays Lady Madonna. You can see better in 2:11 min

That was great and answered the question a lot of people had - it was Jordan Johnson doing the dancing. (Some people thought it was Beck!) 😂

Hello everyone! The release of Mccartney III Imagined is already some months ago now. However, Paul is always developing new music. We learned about a new song that he played in the 3, 2, 1 documentary for instance. He also said in one of the online conversations that accompanied the release of Imagined, that he was working on a song with a young producer (I forgot his name). So the last few weeks I was wondering when Paul will release new music? I don’t think it will be in the near future, since his precious output has been relatively recent. Maybe some new music will accompany the new book in november? what do you think? Thanks!

He is writing the music for the musical "It's A Wonderful Life" and until it actually goes on stage, he will be needed for re-writes and maybe additional music. Nobody sems to have any idea when this musical may actually be done. That may not be the trype of music you are looking for but it will be new music.

The other point about the success of McCartney III Imagined is that "Chart Success" is all about "timing and competition".  It seems like McCartney III Imagined dripped just at the right time to ensure Chart success.  Looking at actual units Sold, Paul's numbers for his "Original" were so much higher.  Sitll if it helps Paul get some Grammy nominations, I'm all for it.

My biggest nightmare is "McCartney III Imagined" gets Grammy nominations not the original "McCartney III".

Yankeefan...The fact that McCartney III and Mccartney III Imagined both hit the charts at #1 (or #2 in the US) in the same year (2021)  really helps Paul's chances in my opinion.  Doing this feat should help Paul's original album score at least a couple of Grammy's nominations.  That is just a gut feel on my part.  He's had Grammy nominations before with Chaos and Creation, Tug of War etc, but my dream is that he "finally" will get the coveted "Album of the Year" Award.  That's my hope anyway.  LIke you say...we'll just have to wait and see.

Putting my prayers behind that thought

This is what I'm wondering too. In addition to "It's a Wonderful Life" which was already mentioned, there's also the music he made for "High in the Clouds". As far as I know that was completed years ago and just hasn't been released. I have no idea if ever will be but I suppose it's possible.

As far as the timing for his next solo album, my hope is that after Egypt Station he had started working on another solo album. Then in quarantine he couldn't work on that one, so he turned to what he could do by himself and made McCartney 3 as it's own self-contained side project. Now, he'd be able to go back and pick back up working on the first album which he would already have a good start on. I have no reason to think any of that is actually true, I'm just hoping  it's something like that so we don't have to wait for 4 or 5 years from McCartney 3 to whatever is next.
