Hope I get to go to London in August so I can buy them at the post office near Paul's house! (went there in 2006 to buy phone cards for my kids so they could call their boyfriend/girlfriend!)

It was posted yesterday on Paul's Twitter and this is a postbox in the heart of the English countryside. The initials "VR" refer to Queen Victoria who died in 1901. The fresh red paint suggests the box is still in use. It is at least 120 years old and you can see more on Google, for example, searching "VR Post Box"

I might go for the discounted Paul McCartney bundle for £55.29. I like the first day covers too. My dad collected them from all over the world since he was a teenager and I inherited them. Will pass on to my son. Hopefully he can sell them for his retirement.
