I read on the internet today that Paul ranked number 1 on the billboard's year highest grossing tours yay!
-
He was number one for that week not for the year from the Japan Out There shows. He was 16 overall for the year.
-
Too bad he wasn't number 1 for the year like I hoped. even for one week it is good. I remeber back in 2002 he was number 1 for the year. Anytime I see Paul go to number 1 whehter a tour or a song or album I get happy.

I don't get it. Why does Rolling Stone say he was #1 for the year? (not just that week!)

You have to read between the lines. "The former Beatle has earned the Number One spot on Billboard's final Hot Tours ranking of 2013, racking up $40.6 million in ticket sales from the final six shows of his Out There! tour." I still say that even 16th for the year is pretty good for someone who isn't out there for half a year like other current artists....

Oh, the key word is "final."
