In my opinion, Paul's best post-Beatles effort. I loved Ram when it came out, I wore it out, and although about four other of his solo albums approach it, Ram is supreme - absolutely awash with melody. It's only now getting the acclaim it always deserved.

I can’t believe it’s 50 years! Such good memories associated with these songs!

I remain a "Ram" dissenter. To my ears it has 3 solid tracks -- Too Many People, Heart of the Country and Eat at Home -- one honorable near-miss -- Dear Boy -- and the rest is about equally divided between so-so and flat-out unlistenable.  My idea of hell would be being forced to listen to Monkberry Moon Delight and Long Haired Lady for eternity.

😂 And mine would be to listen to Nod Your Head and Lavatory Lil for eternity!

Ram is a fun album - I enjoyed it a lot and still do now.
I do not have the deluxe or redos with 45's and such.

i like it a lot and that is what matters to me over the critics.
and it doesn't look a day over 40.

RAM 🐑 is one of my favorite and the sweetest of deluxe sets.  There were so many bits and bobs from his family life up in Scotland. Photos that Linda had taken, children’s  drawings, lyrics that had been jotted down on paper. It really had a sense of Paul and Linda  and their young family and a sense of fun and freedom. That’s also what I hear in the songs from the Ram sessions.  It shows in the photos and films from that time. So lovely,  really.
