What song did Paul and George have a disagreement about during the White Album sessions? (actually in July 1968)
What song did Paul and George have a disagreement about during the Let It Be documentary? (Jan. 1969)
I know the answers, but am having a debate on FB with a guy who refuses to admit his initial post regarding all this was misleading (i.e. incorrect)
Btw, 2 other posters agree with me.

His original post talked about Paul & George arguing about Hey Jude during the Let It Be sessions. No mention of Two of Us. I said his post was misleading and that Hey Jude argument was during White Album sessions (apparently there is a brief mention of Hey Jude in Let It Be by Paul which gets cut off by George) Then the argument where George says "I'll play if you want me to play, or I won't play if you don't want me to" etc. continues pertaining to Two Of Us. This guy just went off the rails and I tried to be patient and explain my point. He didn't get it. Two others chimed in that I was right. Long story short, he finally just stopped responding. Someone told me he apologized to me, but I never saw it.

You're right, that was misleading. There was no argument about Hey Jude during the Let it Be sessions although during a disagreement on how to arrange and rehease Two of Us, Paul did remind George of the Hey Jude disagreement the previous July,a reminder that George wasn't too happy about.

What could there possibly have been to argue about on "Two Of Us?" Don't recall from the film what George may have wanted to do on that song. He should have reminded Paul that it was his (George's) idea to slow down the part of "We Can Work It Out"...almost to a waltz....where they sing....so I will ask you once again. Great idea which makes the song a bit more distinctive and catchy.

God only knows, but the thread has gone quiet, thankfully!
