Paul McCartney 2015 Rumors

Meant to say Maryland haha
Well... there's Oriole Park or M&T Bank Stadium.
I cannot remember the last time there has been a concert at Camden Yards (Orioles)...definitely not anything in the past ten years. M&T Bank Stadium has one concert every summer...2015 is One Direction. : Our luxurious and newly-named "Royal Farms Arena" : : is a dump. It is very out-dated by every definition of the term. So, unless Paul decides to do a theatre tour at some point (which we have MANY beautiful spaces to offer) I don't see him coming to Baltimore anytime soon.

Sounds a lot like Albuquerque! Except we don't get One Direction in 2015. We are getting Foo Fighters in 2015! Cool!!

Although, in the comments section, the author's sources say that it's not going to be Paul... but who knows? http://www.syracuse.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2014/11/2015_carrier_dome_concert_syracuse.html#incart_more_entertainment
This would be cool if it happened. McCartney was supposed to play that venue in 1993 but canceled due to poor ticket sales. And that was when tickets were just $35!! We shall see.
Would love to go to that show if it is real. My old man's a huge Syracuse fan and has never been up there before so I'd have to get him to come along. If he does come there I may scrape up the money and go. If Paul plays anywhere in the US next year logically it should be somewhere in Ohio Most likely Columbus or Cleveland. Still I could see him playing Cincinnati again I would also venture to say he'll play in Michigan and Maine as well
I agree! Except about Maine. WHERE in Maine would he play??
Maine Street???

I've been hearing rumors of concerts in South America in 2015, from at least two reliable sources.
-
Well, THAT is exciting!!! More dates in South America!!! :
-
Seriously , WTF. FFS.
-
He should just emigrate to somewhere in South America. It would save him a lot of time, logistical issues and above all money.

Sorry guys, but it's not my fault. This is the "rumors thread" and I'm just reporting what I've been hearing: Argentina and Brazil in 2015. Not sure when, but probably either April/May or November. That doesn't mean it will come true, and it doesn't necessarily mean EU/UK and Australia will be left off. Besides, he's been doing US tours for longer (and more extensively) than South America, so why not complain about those too? In fact, I'm willing to let go of another SA tour in favour of Europe and Australia if the US fans are willing to do the same and say: "ok, he's been here enough already, let those people have their turn next year".

I wish you were Paul's advisor.

Apologies. Lo siento. You are just reporting what you have heard. It just seems maybe he could give North and South America a break and play Europe/UK and Australia/New Zealand next year. I have no horse in this race. Clearly, he will never play New Mexico again. And therefore I am finished seeing him in concert. But as a spectator, it sure would make things a bit more interesting!

Me too! It sure looks exciting to be traveling with him around the world, no expenses, watching his soundchecks and concerts for free and getting paid for it!

No need to apologize. I do understand everyone is disappointed and I agree he should visit EU/UK/AUS/NZ more often. It's just that SA rumors always leak months in advance, while European tour dates are usually kept secret until the official announcement. That means we may have to wait a little longer to hear those. In the meantime, at least there will be rumors to talk about, which is better than him retiring and no tours anymore.

You're welcome. It's just a rumor, hopefully negotiations will be successful this time.

Just you wait: if they build a new stadium or arena in Albuquerque, Paul will be there in a blink!

Albuquerque is never going to build a new arena or stadium. It is a VERY divided and non-progressive city in that respect. There have been numerous attempts to build a new arena (we don't even HAVE one!) and they all stalled. The current mayor has NO ambitions in that area. We have a very nice, new baseball stadium (Isotopes Park) that seats about 12,000 but concerts are never held there. Our college football stadium (UNM Stadium) seats 39,000 and has hosted the Rolling Stones and Metallica, but nothing since 1997. Our football team sucks, there is no way a new stadium could be justified. They average about 19,000 a game!! Someday maybe. But Paul will be long retired by then. Or maybe not!!!

Or... you could get your ass on a plane like the rest of us do I saw Paul 17 times now plus 1 soundcheck and hopefully I will reach the 20 mark one day!
