Let's hear some of your stories - I've heard a few mentioned (more mechanical in nature) but I found one that was simply a logistics failure...LOL

Were these streamers used during the entire 2004 European tour or just for Glastonbury? And if during the entire tour, were the streamers blowing in into Paul's (and other band members) face at other shows as it was here? As an aside, the performance remained strong despite this...LOL

Btw, other 'issues' I've heard in the past include Paul's mic getting caught in the rising curtain at the beginning of Magical Mystery Tour (2005 - I think that happened in Philly) and the 'Hofner/Paul pumping fist silhouette' getting stuck in the down position with the 'real' Paul walking around it while the image was still fist pumping (i.e it was a live shadow as people must've thought at the time...LOL)

Professionals through & through! It must have been off-putting. What about the hole incident in Tampa? I still wince when I see this...

How could I forget that one - that was probably the most dangerous incident of any I can think of

OMG, yes, he could have been seriously hurt! I love the way he hold the Hofner up high to save it from harm!

Sort of 'forget me, save the Hofner' (can laugh about it in hindsight since it was a 'no harm, no foul' moment)

At Hamdon Park Scotland opening song was Venus and Mars and no sound came out. Paul was stunned and lost for a few minutes From an online review Hampden roared and McCartney basked in it. He then turned to his guitarist to indicate for him to start the opening number?and nothing happened! The acoustic guitar wasn?t working and the crew could be seen windly scurrying around trying to fix the problem. McCartney chatted with the audience as Brian switched his acoustic guitar for an electric one, and (albeit and a few minutes later than planned) the show was on the road.
