I went to the Syracuse show last night and was bummed about no Women & Wives, one of the Fenway shows will probably get it. We shall see, but that one will wind up being very rare it seems.

I didn't know what to call rare from my list of songs, so I didn't include anything that was played on a tour leg (Like Come and Get It)  also I don't do soundchecks so I don't have any sound check songs.

      Cosmically Conscious (Change Begins Within)

Cut Me Some Slack (12-12-12) (Does this one count?)

Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying (Liverpool 2010)

      For You Blue (CFG)

From A Lover To A Friend (CFNYC)

      Hippy Hippy Shake (Anfield)

      HItch Hike (London/Liverpool Dec 2010)

      Honey Hush (Liverpool 2010)

      House Of Wax (Highline)

      In Liverpool (Anfield)

      Matchbox (Highline)

Mull Of Kintyre (Toronto 2005/2010, Liverpool 2011)

      Nod Your Head (Highline)

On My Way To Work (Albany)

Ram On (Pittsburgh 2010, Liverpool 2011)

      That Was Me (Highline)

While My Guitar Gently Weeps (CFG)

With A Little Help From My Friends (Change Begins Within)

When I started this thread, I should have put what the criteria is.  You have said what I should have---rare means-not part of a soundcheck or a tour set list, no matter how short the tour is.  Unfortunately, Women and Wives seems like it will make  the list.  That is a great list!  Fantastic to have heard all those payed live.  I saw him do Mull of Kintyre on August  8, 2010 and looks like you were there as well unless you saw him on the 9th.  You may have been at both.

        New York City-1989; Boston-1990; Raleigh, N.C.-1990, 2002; Columbia, S.C.-1993, 2015 Charlotte, N.C.-1993, 2010; Toronto-2010-MULL OF KINTYRE AT LAST!!   Cincinnati-2011; Washington, D.C.-2013; Atlanta-1990. 1993. 2002, 2005, 2009, 2014. Knoxville-2022

            For me it's been:

            - Mull of Kintyre x3. I wasn't able to travel internationally and everytime he did it abroad and not in the US, I was gutted. Finally got to see it in Toronto and went again to Vancouver for it.

            - Tequila! in Nashville 2010. I know he did it at a Hard Rock Calling in London. Not sure of another live, non-soundcheck, performance. When the rift started I could have sworn it was Brown Eyed Handsome Man.

            - Ram On in London 2015. He obliged a couple of us in the audience. I've since tried to get him to do it without success. In the second Boston show this year I made a sign and we had a little visual back and forth, but ultimately he passed. Thankfully I'd hear it earlier that day in soundcheck from outside the venue.

            - Hope of Deliverance 2012 - rare in that he hasn't done it much in the post 2000 touring era and when he has it outside of soundcheck, it's only been in Latin America - with the exception of a sole Florida show.

            2002 Chicago x3 2005 Chicago x2 2006 NYC Met Paul! 2009 Atlanta 2010 NYC w/Ringo! Nashville 2011 NYC x2 Chicago x2 - 1st Hot Sound Package 2012 Guadalajara - hometown with mariachi & London Queen's Jubilee 2013 Colbert Indianapolis Milwaukee 2014 LA w/Ringo Chicago Front Row! 2015 London x2 Liverpool Lollapalooza Toronto Mull of Kintyre! 2016 Vancouver x2 Philadelphia Cleveland London 8 Days A Week Premier 2017 Chicago x2 Newark x2 MSG x2 Brooklyn 2018 Jimmy Fallon Grand Central Terminal 2019 Madison 2020 :'( 2021 :'( 2022 ?

For me it was "I'll Get You" and "Please Please Me" on the 2005 US Tour. That whole show was full of surprises!

Some other rarities that come to mind were "Another Day" and "Good Rockin' Tonight" at the New World Tour concert  in '93, and "Venus and Mars/Rock Show" at the Hollywood Bowl in 2010.

But i guess by your "criteria" the only real rarity was Venus and Mars/Rock Show in 2010.

Definitely a live rarity, I think the one and only live time fr that one.

As of Saturday night, I can state it must be Oh! Darling.

It has some competition from Temporary Secretary - I was there at both 02 concerts in 2015 when he debuted it live. 😎

I just listened to P.S Love Me Do for the first time and I have to say it's really cool. I doubt he would do that type of thing now.

I am home with a low grade mystery fever as my wife visits our baby granddaughter. Naturally, I am binge watching Paul and came across a great live rarity on YouTube. He does a a great little rendition of Tequila in Nashville, July 201o. And I sold tickets to this show to pay for a trip to Toronto for Mull of Kintyre.

It’s in Spanish as well. Replete with whistling!

To my shame, I've only seen Paul live once and that was only for two songs, at last year's Taylor Hawkins tribute concert. But it was the only time he's performed Oh Darling live, so I did get to see him perform a rare song.

If you can call that “performing.” Chrissie Hynde did all the “heavy lifting” since no way could Paul hit those high notes! 😢

Thanks, Nancy, I am better today but the fears of covid are valid and appreciate the advice

Glad you’re better! I have a friend on the Flower Power cruise right now which began on the 23rd. She tested positive on the 27th for Covid so now has to stay in her cabin and miss all the rest of the fun/concerts. The cruise ends on the 30th.
When I went in 2022 (a year ago) NOBODY got Covid. We had to get a test no more than 2 days before the sailing (I got Rapid test) and then they tested us again via Rapid test before they would let us on the ship, so everyone on the ship was negative. This year they only required you to get the test prior to arriving in Miami and did not test everybody at the port.

Definitely a live rarity, I think the one and only live time fr that one.

Yes, 1st time ever. I think he said 1st time in a hundred years! lol
