"I'll Get You" and "Please Please Me" were the highlights for me. I managed to avoid learning the setlist beforehand (no easy accomplishment) and was blown away. Hopefully we will be in for similar surprises this month (admittedly I'm Beatle biased).

Yeah, I'm more of a Paul Beatle fan than his solo work. It's good, but not as good. "Please Please Me" should be a staple. I'd rather that than "Helter Skelter". Where did you see him on the 05 Tour?

The 2005 tour was great, a bunch of different songs in the setlist. I really loved "I'll Get You" and also loved "For No One" on the piano. But I guess my fave song was "Too Many People" My favorite moment of the tour was asking Paul in Washington DC if there was any chance of "Mull Of Kintyre" in Toronto and him replying "Oh there's always a chance, in fact there's every chance" my flight left the next morning and I saw "Mull" for the first time up at the Air Canada Center (I was already going no matter what his answer had been)

Awesome! So jealous! The Air Canada is beautiful, and the song is just great. "Too Many People" was awesome. What a surprise!

Yeah, TMP was my next favorite moment (well, maybe after "She Came In Through the Bathroom Window"). I attended Chicago, Milwaukee and Des Moines. Shaun, did you personally talk to Paul?

Doesn't get any better than that! Congratulations. Paul really is a great guy. He makes sure every fan leaves happy. Because after every concert, we FLOAT out of the venue. Thanks for sharing such a lovely look inside the generosity of such an icon. Again, congrats. Love it!

Des Moines, where I grew up and being interviewed by the paper Toronto Mull of Kintyre and the meet-up which has become more special because I met Nutty Sacramento limo watch Denver and my feeble attempt at going to work the next day

That's a lot of shows! Were the tickets for the tour about the same as now? Or more expensive?

The top end was the same ($250). In fact, the lowest priced tickets this leg are even less than they were then.

Des Moines and, I think, Omaha, ticket prices were less expensive. They were not part of the pre-sale pass codes that we received. I think they cost around $179 or close to that. They were not over $200. I know Des Moines was a brand new venue at the time and the ticketing site didn't work very well. I managed to get a floor ticket in about row 15 at about 45 minutes in. If the site had been able to handle ii (like it can now), the show would have sold out in fewer than 10 minutes. I used pre-sale pass codes for Denver and Sacramento. A friend used Amex pre-sale to buy Toronto tickets.

'05 was my first limo watch. very exciting experience. It was my 10 yr old son's first McCartney concert. So that was great. As for the show. Helter Skelter and Mull of Kintyre were highlights. Helter Skelter was so unexpected for me.

This was the first solo US tour of McCartney's that I missed. Getting a job, finances, and scheduling made it undo-able. Seems like it was a great show.
