        This is from Andy Mack:

Alright. Let me shed some light on pre-sale. I worked in Marketing for Live Nation for 8 years. Here's the truth…

1.) "Verified fan." It doesn't exist. Pre-sale has nothing to do with ensuring only fans get tickets. What it does is establishes the value. When you register, the system scans your account to see what tickets you have purchased. New account? 5% chance of getting in. Only ever bought lawn? 30% chance. Bought floor? 70% chance. VIP or platinum? 100% chance. It comes down to ability to spend. Not if you are a fan. This is important because YOU are the control group. You set the initial price in the dynamic pricing.

Can't speak for the rest of it, but this part is not true, because based on his comments, I would have gotten VF codes for *every*  show that I've had to use it for, based on the type of seats I buy (never lawn LOL). And there have been shows where I have NOT gotten codes.

What are these VF codes you're talking about? My last 4 PM purchases have been Gold VIP (2019) and Hot Sound Packages (2017, 2014, 2013) and I never got a VF code.

Paul used Verified Fan for shows in 2019,  but I believe the soundcheck packages were available without needing a code, possibly at an early presale.  But I've had to sign up for it for other artists. You sign up and wait for TM to "verify" that you are not a scalper, and if they decide you are worthy, they send you a code and you are "allowed" to access the presale and buy tickets. I hate it.

I did not have to do that in 2019. Just did the pre-sale and got 2 Gold VIP tickets for $750 each, which included merchandise that they mailed to us.
