I noticed that a couple days ago - when you put an asterisk before and after a word it italicizes the word! I tried to tell Melody Shea I was confused and it just italicized the word!

Thank you very much for the work you do. I am really grateful. I really like this new forum. I would have something to suggest though. Would it be possible that it is a kind of help center? So that we can find out how to use the forum or how to post a picture for example.

The black standard text color does not look so good on a black page! Please fix it!

edit: the slate page is ok. I had some other color apparently.

I’m going to try to stick with the white background. I put it on Readable and the black letters are dark enough now, so maybe they fixed that.

I think I’m on Slate now! The background is black and the writing is gray. I’ll keep experimenting.

I don't know if this has ever happened to anyone. But since two days I have problems of display. In dark mode I have letters that are black on a gray background when they should be white on a gray background. I tried to refresh the page but nothing changes.

Can someone please help me?

The black, gray or dark blue backgrounds do not have readable text. They need to change this.

Have you gone into your settings and changed the background? I’m back to white background with black letters.
You have to click on your avatar pic (top right) and go into settings and select a different SKIN then click SAVE at the bottom. I’m using READABLE.

@NJR Yes I have already tried this option. But if I accidentally reload the page. The writing goes back to black on a gray background. But I will try what you use. Thanks a lot for the help.

@oobu24 is right. When you log in for the first time your settings are default. As I hardly guess the blank ones, I went to see in the settings and if I'm not mistaken it's thanks to you that I knew where the change of wallpaper is. I found this information in a conversation where I think you helped wandy with the same problem.
So, @oobu24 is right if I ask for help regarding the writing that becomes black on the gray background. It's because I had changed the background and I knew where it was.
