@melody-shea Last I read was that he was writing a "Musical". I guess it's something like Andrew Lloyd Webber would write. Anybody got any info?

@wandy The musical he was writing the music for is called "It's A Wonderful Life". There has not been any real update on this for a couple of years. It was delayed due to COVID and supposedly McCartney had already written 20 songs for the show including the opening number.

@yankeefan2 that is a movie it's a wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart , so is the musical based on that movie? That would be a great thing for Christmas this year but they would have to get people to play the parts , so has anyone heard if they have already casted and hired people to play in the musical and is it being rehearsed in other words is there any more information on this project and most of all is it based on the movie and that would be interesting to see once they get it all finished and put together

@melody-shea Yes, it is based on the Jimmy Stuart movie. It was scheduled to be ready in 2021 but then COVID hit. Since that time, there has been zero updates about the project. I find it odd that you have not heard from Paul about this show, would be nice to hear status of it. My personal opinion is that it is going to be scrapped, hope I am wrong. Since this is a Christmas movie, the best you can hope for is it will hit the West End in 2023.

@yankeefan2 well I'm new here I just got here a couple of days ago so and I got a message that said it was him contacting me from Instagram page just before his concert in I think February cause I had got kicked off Instagram and I don't know why and tried to get back into my page but they keep saying that my password was wrong kinda like here what is it about passwords you know that you put them in right you even go and check out just to see if it is and it is but then when you try to get on to things you can't cause they keep telling you that you are wrong and you know you are not it's just aggravating but I'm happy to be on here talking to everyone would like to talk to Paul though but this guy gave me a email address and I keep trying to put it in but it kept saying not found so I told him and he gave me another and it worked and I got his txt messaging on my txt message pH yeah and then I signed up for the email contact on the post of the page about the concert on the bottom and know I get txt message on my phone like when he tells everyone happy what ever holiday it is and his phone number but it is only a recording of about txt him but the best part at the end you get to hear his voice saying that you reached the voicemail box of Paul McCartney k I love it so you can only txt him but he doesn't respond back with a txt to you. But we get his messages on the you gave me the answer page I like that I wonder if it really was him getting a hold of me to give me the information or somebody who worked for him I would love to know 🥰

The only legit # to text Paul is the one he gave out at his 2019 concerts: 212-313-9547
If you text that # you will receive all kinds of texts for the various holidays and he texts about any new albums, videos, etc. that he has released.
The real Paul McCartney is not out there giving out his email address! Don’t fall for these scammers!

I paid the price for his scams. Yet it was obvious that it was not Mr. McCartney. Yet naive I continued. Until I was forced to delete all my social media to end it all. I beg you. Never search on Twitter, Instagram or any other social media for any Paul McCartney except his official account. It's great the others are scammers. And never respond to anyone who contacts you. They know we are easy targets. It attacks very regularly the account of fans because they know that there is a seam. I beg you. Be careful.

@wandy It is an original musical based on a famous movie. This would not be a "jukebox" musical that uses songs from a famous group or artist. (exp. Jersey Boys, Beautiful, The Cher Show etc). It is all new music written by Paul McCartney. See link from over 3 years ago.

@littlewillow thanks for your info, but I to have already been scammed by those scammers,I'm ashamed to say I've though been smart about a lot of them and not given them any money except for one, he had me food really believing in him, cuz I did send him money quite a bit I'm not going to say just how much because now I am totally utterly ashamed of it I wish I never did but he would write me beautiful poems send me flowers pictures of them he would never talk to me on the phone or video chat me but he would always text me who we talked about all kinds of things and I wound up falling in love for him thinking it was him the one and only Paul McCartney he said he was a divorced or had divorce papers from Nancy but just didn't sign them yet then after talking he said he did he said he was afraid to sign him he was hoping that they would get back together and yet when I saw like posts about the two of them being together he said it's a lie and that was old pictures and I had a hard time believing him at first but then he convinced me I guess it was because I had been lonely because I've been living here all alone for some time when you're living alone you get lonely and you fall easily more easily than when you have somebody with you cuz I so wanted it to be him but it wasn't, and then the others I some of them I heard their voices knew it wasn't him some of them tried to fool me with the video chats using one of his videos of him talking about Charlie Rose which I had seen before so I knew and I told him so they just muted to talk on it told me they could see me but I couldn't see him or hear him and then one used video of him talking about Tony Bennett and I seen that one too cuz I seen many of his videos so I knew and of course they did the same thing they muted it I told them so and then they asked me for money and I wouldn't send them it they would get so mad and I told him I don't believe I couldn't believe that a man who's supposed to be a billionaire would ask me for money and he said it wasn't him who was asking for the money but it was his management people were asking for it for the fan card of his or for the verification of meeting him and so I'm trying to say oh that they are also divorced and we could be together and he'd pay all my bills and everything and of course I didn't believe him and I didn't send them any money and then there's those who ask for a steam card or an apple card and the Apple card they said was to upload their music but he has enough money to do that himself and I know that but they claim that their bank account was frozen and they couldn't get into their money and yeah I know that Paul would never freezes his own bank account or bank account would never be frozen from him cuz when he divorced from second wife he throws his bank account from her not from himself and I told them this and that would just made them more upset there are those out there who said they are married to Nancy but offered to help me out in a way of coming out there to England to live but wanted me to send him some money and not much but still some money a little bit like for the apartment that they found for me but then later on when I told him I couldn't pay they just left me which is all well and good cuz I didn't believe them either because they would never talk to me on the phone either or video chat me cuz I said they couldn't and then there's those who said oh they done that with other fan and got blackmail by that fan, so you see I know, I know all about it, I've made them upset which makes me very happy because they should be ashamed of themselves but I know why they do it they do it for money all of them do they pray on us all women mostly cuz they ask you about yourself I want to get to know you better and then ask you to go to a different talk site to talk to you privately and ask you not to give out their email address well I'll be gladly give Paul McCartney all their email address if he wants them and wants to pursue them and take them to court I would gladly give them to him all their addresses email addresses cuz I still have them all even though I blocked them but I kept their email addresses and some of their phone numbers I don't know what good that could do but maybe he can find it out about them and sue them if he's interested but then again I don't know if you want to bother with it that's another thing those scammers out there saying oh they know about all the other scammers how they're trying to find out about them and and take care of them and, and put them in jail just to make you believe it's really him and I know about the phone number that the other person posted I have that number that person who texted me from Instagram before I started talking to any of those other scammers was from his verified fan page but like I said I didn't know for sure if it was him or not or one of his workers but I like it when I finally worked and I got the right post I got the text messages on my phone tell me about all the like I said holidays wishing me happy one and also information about the concerts when he came out here and I got out of his email page from the and got all these information from that even about here and all his stuff that's for sale which I only went through his store that he from him is selling his stuff only bought one thing though, the McCartney lll CD, which I love it very much and, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has been so helpful and giving me that information which I already have but you Willow for letting me know about your incident I actually appreciate that so thank you very much
