I suppose a better headline might have been "A Dog, Two Apples, and a Fruit"
Never heard of the last guy and not sure why he warrants being put on a stamp, but I look forward to seeing John Lennon grace our mail. Based on some of the no-names that we put on U.S. stamps these days, I see no reason why George Harrison shouldn't be on a U.S. commemorative stamp as well. I hope some day Paul McCartney is immortalized on a entire set of U.S. commemorative stamps--he deserves it!

The Harvey Milk story is an inspiring one. I recommend getting hold of the award winning doco...not the movie, the doco, The Times of Harvey Milk.

I'll have to take your word on that!

He does, but I hope it is not for a long, long time, since a person has to be deceased for a certain number of years (I've forgotten exactly) before they can be on a US stamp!

Funny, I thought the same thing, but the OP says Jobs is going to be on one of them which I thought was a bit odd. I'm not sure that he even deserves to be on a US stamp, but as a stamp collector (or perhaps an ex-collector) the quality and content of US stamps has gone way downhill to the point of almost being a joke! French and English stamps are still quite nice. Anyone know if Lennon has appeared on an English stamp?
