Thanks for the info but it's becoming complicated. Not really worth the hassle just to upload a few photos. Thanks again.
You're welcome. If you want you can send me the pictures and I will post them on the forum.
-
@littlewillow OK thanks. But this throws up another problem. How do I send you my pictures.
-
You can just drag & drop from your hard drive. I just tried it. Paul 2017

@wandy I'll send you my e-mail by private message if you want.

It works. Good job.
-
@littlewillow Ok. Why not. Do you need my e mail addy?
-
@oobu24 Have no idea how to “drag & drop” but Little Willow’s instructions were easy for me to follow, so I’ll sometimes use that method instead of going through Photobucket.

@wandy
Apriori no. If you went to your private messages on Maccaboard you must have seen my e-mail address that I wrote to you. If you send me pictures via that one. I would have your e-mail. -

I'm really glad this tutorial helped you and that it's easy to understand.
Basically "drape and drop" means that you drag your photo from an open window on your computer or tablet onto your post. This creates your line of code for your image directly. Instead of using the shortcut, you do this. It's faster. This is if you are on a computer or tablet and can open two windows at the same time. -

Experimenting:
Nope - didn’t work! I must be doing something wrong. Maybe oobu can explain. -

Don’t know how to do that and it’s too much trouble to bother with it. Thanks anyway.

Well, I have one more thing. If you right click on your photo and go to the settings. You will find the size of your file. It is often there in first. -

Yes, the pic I posted was too big &it will say that. But assuming your pic is the right size...just click on it & drag it over here...into the reply box.

I have 2 laptops I almost never use, and an old desktop that I shut down & unplugged - it still has Windows 95 on it!

@littlewillow Being in French it would be hard for me to follow, but I don’t plan on ever changing my photo/avatar anyway.
