Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, Tupac Shakur in Dutch Beer Ad

http://celebrity.yahoo.com/news/kurt-cobain-john-lennon-tupac-shakur-star-dutch-193503795-rolling-stone.html Dutch brewing company Bavaria has an egregious new ad out for their fruit-flavored beer, Radler, that'll leave you more dumbfounded than a bunch of Clydesdales debating those twins.

That's an insult to John. A title of a Paul song (despite it's dedicated to John's son).

I think it's a great commercial--very clever and funny! Although they should have depicted MM at her real age which is approaching 88 now
They really missed out on putting Michael Jackson on that island too! I would imagine that Paul would think it's hilarious as well!

If Michael Jackson was on that island, they'd kill him. Elvis was his father in law.

I think it's a terrible looking John. I would like to see George there waay before MJ.

Yes, but MJ being there would have been great comedy. I can see him "moon walking" across the set while Jude & co. are serving the beers. I agree that "Lennon" didn't look much like Lennon and he didn't have much of a Liverpudlian accent either. MM as an 88 year-old would have been more fun...she looked 60-something in the video.

i agree with oobu on the john lennon part actually they dont look nothing like any of them maybe except for cobain

The only way i could tell who's who was by reading it, and i dont like the idea either, no.

Speaking of John Lennon and Kurt Cobain, I saw a photo of Sir Paul with the rest of former Nirvana members, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear. It's amusing.

Why do you say that? They (Paul & Nirvana members) won a Grammy for their song "Cut Me Some Slack."

Took me awhile to get an accessible link. Not sure why Tupac would be afforded the same legendary status as the others. No offence to the man, but he is not exactly in that league, nowhere near a cultural giant. In fact, unless he is playing the part of Tattoo, on some kind of fantasy island, I'm unsure of his place in the commercial. I found the clip a little droll, bordering on sensationalism, for the sake of it. Certainly wasn't clever. When it could've been. As it is, it kinda borders on distasteful.

Political correctness gone wild! Tupac? I barely know who the guy is or care. If they needed to balance out the racial mix Michael Jackson would have been much funnier! I could see him moonwalking across the beach in his typical ostentatious garb and talking in that high pitched voice
I think in general it's kind of a creative idea, but I think I could have been a lot funnier: MJ, a much older MM, and a much fatter Elvis wearing an Elvis wig eating a stack of pork chops with a very generous helping of that fruit beer

I don't watch the Grammys and I lost track of sir Paul for a while.

Well, hang out here more often and you'll get up to speed!

OK. Thanks, Nancy.
