Navigation Screen Problem
-
Hi all. Previously I have mentioned about there being ( on my screen) a display telling me there are ( for example) 6 unread messages. Could be 10. Could be 5. However, when I click on these unread messages, there sometimes are none. Here is a screenshot of what I mean. At the top LH corner you see the number 6, in red. This means there are 6 messages unread. Yet when I clicked on it, there were NONE unread. Very strange.

@wandy I see. You have the same display as me. Is it when you go to your notifications how does it look?

@wandy OMG, your screen is entirely different than mine! And I see it says 4G, but it also shows wi-fi bars, so I donât know wth you are on!
If you could only take your laptop somewhere that has free wi-fi and sign in to maccaboard.paulmccartney.com, you will see what those of us who are not on cellphones see. Maybe your problem would be solved then. -
@njr Well according to my cellphone "settings", my wifi is switched OFF. So not sure what is happening there
. I tried to post the DVD case cover picture, earlier today, of the 72 min documentary I made a few years ago, about the Beatles life and times in London. Ladyleslie has the dvd at the moment. She hasn't spoken to me since she received it, perhaps it was that bad
â
Anyhow the darned picture file was too big to uploadđ„č what is it about my photos!!

@wandy Try looking in the settings of your phone. Maybe you'll find something related to the size of your photos? As I don't know your model very well. I don't know where it can be found. Maybe in camera or photo. I don't know.
Otherwise, send me the picture by e-mail as soon as possible. Then I'll post it on Maccaboard. -

Do you have a cellphone internet provider?! Iâve asked you this at least twice. When you go into Settings, click on Connections. Turn Wi-Fi on and the name of your Network should be listed once itâs on (itâs a nickname that you would have made up, like Wandy Net)
If you click on Mobile networks it should list Network operators. Mine says Boost Mobile. This is your Internet Provider.
And donât worry about Leslie, she hasnât written me back either or been on the forum lately and Iâm like her best friend!
If youâre lurking out there Leslie, EMAIL ME!
P.S. I already told you she canât watch that DVD because it is Region 2 and we are Region 1. She would need a multi-region DVD player. -

No she doesnât-I spoke to her and it canât be done.
âYou may wonder whether it is possible to convert region 2 DVD to region 1 so you can play it on your region 1 DVD player. Well, you canât convert DVD region 2 to 1 on the physical disc. But you can rip region 2 DVD to a region-free digital media with a ripper program and then play it through a media player. In the next part, a high-efficiency DVD ripper for Windows is introduced to help you rip and convert region 2 DVDs with ease. Please read on.â

She doesnât know anyone who knows how to do that and I sure donât know how! Plus, her laptop is real old. I think it would have to be done on a much newer laptop.
