Daughtry Show

Disneyworld has concert series that has started in March and goes into the summer I believe; shows are at Epcot. Shows are only 25-30 minutes long but they are free with park admission and seating is first come first serve. I saw "Daughtry" on 3/6/23 and they rocked!!! Lead singer Chris Daughtry was on American Idol years ago and many thought he should have won. See link below for video I took of the first song (World on Fire).

@yankeefan2 Wow, he’s 43 years old now! He was 26 when he came in 4th in 2006 on Am. Idol.

Chris Daughty and Katharine McPhee (Smash, Scorpion) were much better than the winner Taylor Hicks.

OMG, yes, and Adam Lambert came in 2nd to some kid nobody remembers!!

Lambert losing was mind boggling. I had to look up the winner's name and it was Kris Allen. It does not appear he has been that successful after AI and Lambert is a huge star.

Exactly! I KNEW he would be! Getting to take over for Freddy Mercury’s lead singer position in Queen was AWESOME! (on AI he got to sing with them and I saw the writing on the wall)
Also, during the auditions I KNEW Clay Aiken was going to go far. He was robbed of winning to effing Ruben Studdard! O…M…G…!

Clay Aiken is from NC so when he lost it was a big deal here -lol. American Idol has gotten it correct a few times with the likes of Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood but on the whole most winners have not achieved great success.

Totally agree!!
