I tried that just once. I found that Sunscreen really stains! My hat has never looked the same since! Oh well, we live and learn.

Me too!
Actually I think although it was sunny out that day, it wasn’t very warm. When they did the Life magazine cover in the pool I remember reading that they said they were freezing! -

Thanks littlewillow but sunscreen would stain my hat.
Better a stained hat than skin cancer.
P.S. I put sunscreen on my face and wear a baseball type hat if I’m at an outside festival in the sun and never had my hat stained! -

Yep! She can be seen in the film of the press conference where she was taking pics of them. Later, she called Nat Weiss (who she sat next to on the plane back to NYC in May 1967) and asked him to ask Paul if she could ride with them to the airport, which she did and took photos. The plane was delayed 3 hours taking off so she got to talk to Paul.
(John & Paul stayed in Nat Weiss’s apartment while they were in NYC. I was just reading online how they signed his door. There’s a photo floating out there of him standing next to it.) -

I love this song.... I could be wrong.... but was this where Paul suggested to George they add some kind of extra layer to it?.... which made it even better?.... their last recording, I think, even if John wasn't there... (although probably not their last recording, if one looks at it on those grounds).
