Here is the setlist from opening show of the tour last night: "Matchbox," "It Don't Come Easy," "I Saw the Light" (Todd Rundgren), "Evil Ways" (Gregg Rolie), "Rosanna" (Steve Lukather), "Kyrie" (Richard Page), "Bang the Drum" (Rundgren), "Boys," "What Goes On," "Yellow Submarine," "Black Magic Woman" (Rolie), "Give More Love," "Back Off Boogaloo," "Oye Como Va" (Rolie), "I Wanna Be Your Man," "Love Is the Answer" (Rundgren), "Broken Wings" (Page), "Hold the Line" (Lukather), "Photograph," "Act Naturally," "A Little Help From My Friends"/"Give Peace a Chance."

That has to be his worst setlist ever. To each his own, but he picked the worst Beatles' songs, besides Revolution 9! He does the same old Ringo 70's hits. The All Stars' songs are pretty average as well. Oh well, people will always pay to see a Beatle perform.

What really boggles my mind is that he has one one song from his new album here -- an album that kicks off with "We're On The Road Again," for Pete's sake! This is basically the same set for at least six years now, so complaints about Paul's seem quaint, at best.

I saw the first two shows, and the main difference in the setlists this year is that the show is a little bit shorter. Ringo was also doing "Don't Pass Me By" and that's been cut out, and Richard Page and Steve Lukather have lost one song each. "Rosanna" and "Broken Wings" got some extended instrumentals to compensate, it seems, but it still makes the show shorter. Ringo has been doing the same songs for years anyway, with some rotations ("Back Off Boogaloo" and "I'm the Greatest" tend to swap in and out, for example). No surprise that he does the 70's hits that people know. If he did anything more obscure, he would lose the audience. As for "Give More Love", he said he was singing it as a message for Las Vegas, so in that context, it makes sense, instead of another song from the new album. But he still looks good, is having fun, and I don't really blame him for coasting a little at 77 years old. Still fun for me to watch him drumming to the All-Starrs' songs. And I realized after the Sat. night show that Paul and Ringo were performing two of the same songs on the same night, in two different countries: "I Wanna Be Your Man" and "Give Peace a Chance."

Just odd that he's only doing 1 tune from the new album. Whatever on thinks about Paul's set lists otherwise, he usually does 4 songs or so from a new album he's touring behind.

Not odd. One new song is the norm for Ringo. There may have been a tour where he played two, but mostly it's just one. He's often toured when he doesn't even have a new album and there aren't any new songs to play.

Ringo doesn't even change the band members anymore I think hoping for setlist changes is long dead. I am very happy he adds a song from a new album so that there is any change at all from the usual list of songs he rotates in and out of the tours. I've only been to 1 Ringo concert - in support of 'Vertical Man'. IMO, probably his best post early 70s work. 'La De Da' is classic Ringo - cant believe he left it off all of his greatest hits package.

The setlist will only be short until he leaves Las Vegas at the end of October, at which point the setlist will extend to no doubt include You Are Mine and Africa. Also, Ringo himself has confirmed on a telephone interview that once they leave Vegas, he will be adding We're On The Road Again to the setlist. Since he hasn't dumped Matchbox, I suspect it will be coming after It Don't Come Easy. I can't say for sure what the song will be like live, but I kinda hope it's like Choose Love and Back Off Boogaloo. Half centre stage, half on drums.

Interesting, I did not know that, thank you. Now I wish I could catch a non-Vegas show, but I went out there because he's not playing near me this time around.

I should have realized the Casino shows might be shorter, that is a common practice, they want people out gambling and spending money instead of in the Theatre. -

Altho the last time I saw him in Vegas, I don't think the setlist was any shorter. Pretty sure Lukather and Page did their 3 songs each.

Uh oh just checked setlist.fm and not only has "We're On The Road Again" not been added but it looks like "Give More Love" has been dropped. Setlist.fm is often incorrect, I really hope this is wrong.

Oh Shaun, I wish that were the case. I've been keeping up with the reviews. Not a single song from Give More Love for the past few shows... Well, I can't say I'm not disappointed to see the lack of We're On The Road...
