Hi, I have been searching for a copy of the above-mentioned, in dvd /bluray. This was a classic, in my opinion, so creative, it has so many qualities, please ,please, please re-release it in the UK
. I did have a VHS copy, but it's no longer playable(I'm afraid I played it too many times)

Not a great movie. But I love No More Lonely Nights.... I'm probably in the minority when I say I prefer the "Play out Version"..... that being said, both are great.
-
And I've said it before..... I really like The Long and Winding Road version.... but it is ironic that Paul hated what Phil Spector did to it, and yet.... this version on Broad Street is completely "produced and overlaid".... Still, I really like it.

Wait... someone likes "Broad Street"???? No accounting for taste. The movie is an extended music video, and okay anytime Paul isn't trying to act. The original songs are all solid, the remakes mostly forgettable. "The Long and Winding Road" is a mystery to me. Paul played the definitive arrangement of this on "Wings Over America," and now that he gets to record it properly, we get ersatz Kenny G. WTF????

As usual Bruce, please tell us how you REALLY feel!

I have no issue with the Silly Love Songs version.... vocally... but the video.... dreadful. Cringe-central. I know it was the 80's.... but what was he thinking?
-
Still, one of the best bass songs ever.
-
@toris Totally agree, about the video and the bass line!

Can you please re-release the musical/storyline 'Give my regards to Broad Street', I can remember in parts of this, I remember Bryan Brown in it as well as yourself and Linda and Ringo, this was a wonderful cast and I think it's a shame that I'm unable to get this in bluray/dvd,I am begging you to please release this. I would appreciate a reply, Thanks, Jule

As I told you in my post quite a while ago, it’s available on Amazon.
