According to this news report, the official announcement should come in the next couple of days: http://radiounodigital.com.uy/home/lo-adelantamos-hace-10-dias-paul-vuelve-a-uruguay/ Apparently it has not happened yet because a soccer match was scheduled to happen at the stadium on April 20: http://calicoskiesblog.blogspot.com.ar/2014/03/montevideo-la-escala-rebelde-de-out.html There would not be enough time to disassemble the stage, as the concert will be on April 19. They are trying to reach an agreement, which would be to change the date of the soccer match, and the article above mentions that they are working against the clock to solve that problem as a matter of urgency.

I'd like very much that he went to Montevideo, but I think is not easy, my friends from Uruguay says that the date is difficult cause many people goes out for Easter Holidays, and to fill the stadium could be hard...we'll see.

Several people told me the video might be a well done fake, I don't know what to think. If Uruguay doesn't happen Paul might do 3 shows in Chile.

It's not a fake video. You can clearly see Paul speaking those words. He is also wearing the same clothes (and in the same place) of the official videos for the concerts in Peru, Ecuador and Costa Rica. It is also very different from the 2012 announcement of the previous concert. Have a look:

I have a question for all of you brilliant macca minds out there. What if Paul made all videos at the same time, on the same session, for all countries that were under negotiation to be used if contracts were signed and to NOT be used if negotiations failed? Food for thought.

Of course I want it to happen! And of course I will go if it happens! But I wanted to clarify that the fact that Paul made a video and part of it leaked, does not mean the concert is confirmed.
