To me, and I think Kapoo might at least understand this, the thread's topic was mostly about the irony of how Krishna is against drugs and intoxication. Yet for most of us Westerners especially the white middle class in the 60s, drugs and the Beatles opened us up to Krishna. it's ironic.

amazed this thread is not locked!! Lol not trying to start trouble, thought it might be entertaining for new posters classic aaahhhhrrrRrUUUUUMYTAAAHHHHHHHHA AAHHLLleylluuuuUUUUYYAAAAA

Kapoo, the intention of this thread was never to start trouble. It was to talk about ironies in Beatlefandom and those Beatle fans who discovered Krishna through George. Whether the Krisnas like it or not, that is the reality.

You totally get it KO, thanks I mean it actually STARTED when I read that interesting story about George's plane experience, and how sure he can chose to believe it was Krishna's intervention or something that saved him.. and my thought was just that the whole 'thing' leaves a lot of room for debate, or in my case looking for satirical commentary / jokes related to the power of Krishna, per se. I actually sort of became my own threads worst enemy spitting jokes lol but its a satirical thread which I hoped could be interesting and it definitely was in my book and is. and you're right, it is about the ironies in many cases, and totally the discussion on experiencing the Beatles and music in a drug loving way is just a fun and honest one. no prob in my mind, people done crazy things including our heroes.

You know, the same thing happened to George many times in his life. The man was a duality of personalities regarding spirituality. I don't view it as hypocrisy like I do with molesting priests. I view it as a lesson. why? Because George himself was the first to admit his wicked side (but it was his wicked side I liked best)

Yeah, I visited other realms. Some are inside you. There is a belief system that there are so many finite number of realms and Crowley claimed to have visited them all. It's been odd when I learn secrets in there about this world that turn out to be true. Like what's going to happen next with certain people. One big message I got once was, "Your enemies will never be able to hurt you. Distrupt and distress yes, but never actually cause you harm." That's meant a lot (and so far, it's been true)
