I have some answers
21st Century Paul:
Quantum Physics ("QP" from now on, lol) again... "B or C": QP is not something new but 100 years old, all kinds of experiments have been done. I searched"quantum" in this site http://journals.aps.org/ and there were more than 200,000 studies, lol, so well.. how on Earth there is so much mystery bout QP?, and like dozens of interpretations?: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interpretations_of_quantum_mechanics
QP is deep stuff, is like trying to find out if the afterlife exists or what are the best political or economical system. There are answers for the economical and political but of course... whoever that's interested in people accepting "different styles" is tempted to hide the truth... It has always been like that. Maybe teaching "their stuff" at universities, spreading at mass media, paying journalists, etc. And in some regime they just punish whoever that doesn't support "their stuff" you know. It happens with religion and it happens with science too. So all that different versions of QP. Some are "QP proves God exist" some are "QP God don't exist", some "How can you win a million dollar with QP", some are "QP proves you create your own reality" I mean... they're just twisted to support, promote, etc whatever ideology. So it's hard to get through all that layers.... My fav part is when they say "QP are against common sense" ... just like Earth being a sphere goes against common sense, heavy machines we call planes being able to fly goes against common sense... electricity... how a TV works goes against common sense! So what is not right is that "common sense". If "The Earth moves" it moves, and whatever ideology/common sense that believes the opposite is simply mistaken. So with QP.
I guess some are listed but already proved to be impossible. So I'm wondering about 2 or 3 mysterious things bout QP: -what the heck they mean by "the observer", a person? an animal? any kind of -measuring instrument? ??? -does the observer causes a thing or just discovers? -anything bout quantum entanglement Actually, all the end of his life Einstein tried to prove himself wrong. It's not easy!.
1. -what the heck they mean by "the observer", a person? an animal? any kind of -measuring instrument? ??? The observer is not a person, but simply anything that measures the particle/wave, so some instrument. It's when a QP system has "interaction/contact/shares information" with a "not QP system". It's not like that but think of a thermometer, once the mercury of the thermometer reacts to the heat of the QP then is "measured", cause it alters something outside of the QP system (the mercury of the thermometer). What makes QP like that is isolation, all is QP-like, only interaction with everything makes that "measure" happen again and again. It's not "measure" just interaction, contact. It's not about invisible tiny particles only, they have turned objects like diamonds into "quantum state". It's a just a state of matter/energy. 2 -does the observer causes a thing or just discovers? Here comes the funny stuff, lol. It seems the answer is not clear, and any possible solution or explanation is "against common sense". Like "future changing the past""behaving like if they were out of space and time" and things like that, more of answer 3... 3 -anything bout quantum entanglement (QE) QP may be the weirdest science. And Quantum Entanglement is the weirdest thing of QP. And the "angle of the measurements" is the weirdest thing of entanglement. In QE 2 particles are connected cause they once were close. At first it was thought like a rare thing, now it seems they say all electrons are entangled with the electrons of the same atoms... plants create sun energy because entanglement, in the end we go to "Everything is connected". But somethings are more connected to particular things than others (if not, all would be the same...) When 2 "particularly entangled" thingies are far away, if one is measured (so "Interacted") the other changes instantly (or at least at 10000 times faster than the speed of light). Einstein called that "spooky action at distance" and though it was impossible. Yet it's true unless all the scientist conducting experiments in the world are lying. The fun gets funnier, some entanglement made that a future particle changes a past particle, and things like that. All pointing to our concept of Space and time (Spacetime for Einstein) is not quite right... At last, my fav thing, the direction, the angles of the devices measuring the particles are decisive (maybe cause maybe effect or whatever) in the outcome of the experiment. This has been so tested that are stats of what to expect when scientists put their devices heading north, south, to the window, to the door, etc. If the devices look in opposites direction the results of the experiment (even if they're a galaxy away) is the opposite of when the device point at each other. Like if the "devices" sent or receive something. Maybe the scientists are trying to sell us something... lol if they're right, we're very wrong and they don't have a clue about it all. But well, the scientists of ALL the world agree so it can't be like economics, politics, religion... All that about entanglement and angles reminds of people. When are close we get a connection then we can be far and the connection remains in a special way. And the angles remind of eye contact, the strongest conection is when the eyes meet "the measuring devices are in opposite directions". So for me it makes sense "in a special way".
