RE: Paul McCartney 2012 Rumours
Is Paul yes or no going to play tomorrow at the closing ceremony of you-know-what? Maybe a stupid question, but I want to know if I have to stay up late . Missed the opening thing.....

they all wanted the blue uniform
Yeah, that struck me too! No red or green or yellow.

RE: "Triplets Love Paul" with Paul!
How very sweet and innocent the children look. Did they actually realise what was happening in the first place? They were so young at the time. Lovely act of Paul. Thanks for sharing.

RE: Hello
Hi! I don't speak Finnish....but long ago I had a pen-pal from Haukivuori, or maybe this was her surname...I don't remember. Good luck with your book! Anny.

RE: Shoes for Paul!!
It is a typical sweet story of a four year old. But sorry: 4 years old! Much too young in my opinion to talk about "building up hopes" etc. or go to a popconcert in the first place. She has no idea whatsoever what Paul and the Beatles are all about although the music will appeal to her at this early age. If I were you, I would go to the concert alone and leave my little daughter at home with her toys. Have a great time!

Thanks for the wonderful report, Cipher Pipe. Lucky you, one of the 300! But how did you survive this, I almost die reading it

RE: Paul, on your next tour, please come to ____________ .
Why not Amsterdam? Paul, you can return home after the concert and sleep in your own bed to return the next day for a second gig .

RE: Silly questions for Paul
Paul never answers any questions at all on this board, or does he?? Not even my serious question about irritatingly huge microphones covering most of his babyface And any singer's face for that matter. Except opera singers, cause they don't use microphones.

It clearly means you're dying to go to his concert. Are you planning to?
If he comes near me...
He's not? Or is he? Hope for you he is.

Ergg.... Once I had a dream that Paul was my teacher, but it was a young image of Paul with the mind he has now (I know... wtf?) and he was talking about how kids today don't know what music is and I was all like "Pshhh... I do!!" And then I got an A+++ in his class for liking his music, then I woke up and was like GRRR... I hate school without Paul as my teacher.
Aren't dreams funny?!

RE: dreams
What a nice thread this is! I had quite a few laughs reading some of your dreams. I myself have had lots of dreams about Paul, not so much about the other Beatles. One of my dreams I wrote down more than 30 years ago, so I remember it still. I was looking after Paul's daughter Mary at my old school. I knew that Linda had been a teacher there for some time and they lived in one of the schoolbuildings. They were very kind to me. Most of these dreams are in that style: I am part of Paul's entourage. Lovely.

Because it's raining cats and dogs I've been on the board today since breakfast

RE: Fans over 50?
I was about 7 when a girl at school had photos of the Beatles with her. I thought those guys looked really strange with their long hair. Then my older sister started listening to their records on the radio, my mother stuck their pictures on the kitchen cupboards, my aunt thought they were cute and there was no return for me and my sister! We went to the neighbours to watch the Beatles on tv, in later years we saw them outside the studio while recording "Abbey Road", we had John and Yoko staying in our capital and Wings came for one of their first tours here in 1972. We saw one concert in the wings.....incredible. Great memories.

RE: ~For Sir Paul Maccartney~ Fans write your messages here
What a sweet poem. Having just watched 40 years of McCartney I realize Paul is a religious person in a certain pleasant way, not even so deep down. Aren't you, Paul?

Hello Paul! Why in this day and age of high technology do we still have to put up with those irritatingly big and massive microphones that most of the time hide your mouth and more of your still lovely face?? It is a thing that's been bothering me and my family for many, many years. Thanks for (anyone's) reply.
