After seeing the set list for the first two shows, I'm thinking of contacting trading standards about this tour name

So, any set list surprises in Montreal?
No, sadly. Exactly the same as Quebec as far as I can see.
Im really looking forward to everyone getting their copies and sharing their opinions. I got mine a day early so I've listened to it three times now and im really enjoying it. its definitely a grower. its quite ecentric in places, which is always a plus for me Its pretty consistent song quality-wise, but for me there is a little dip in the middle of the album with a couple of songs that dont do much for me, but they're not BAD by any means.
highlights for me so far are Dominoes, Caesar Rock and Hunt You Down/Naked/C-Link. There are a lot of growers on there too, so that list will definitely expand the more I listen.
I was struck as well by how many of the songs would be really great live. Who Cares for example. But i'm not holding my breath!
anyway, that's my early take on it. cant wait to hear what everyone else thinks!
My set list expectations are so low at this point, I'll be ecstatic if all he does is get rid of Four Five Seconds and I Wanna be your Man.
Thanks for the replies guys, most helpful
Wishing all those trying to get tickets lots of luck for tomorrow. I hope we'll be reporting back with good news!
Hi everyone. As someone new to the presale setup, could I ask a question to the more experienced fans? I went to the Ticketmaster website just to do a bit of investigation, and the only show listed on there is the Glasgow one...?? So if I'm lucky enough to get a code, where do you go to input that? And does anyone know why the London and Liverpool shows aren't listen on Ticketmaster UK?
Also I've seen a few of you mention that the presale tickets don't guarantee great seats. Would it be in any way beneficial to try my luck in the general sale or do those tickets disappear in minutes?
I've been so looking forward to getting some UK dates, but now the time has come, I'm actually terrified!!
Thanks all.

Hi there folks,
this is my first post on the Maccaboard (but I'm not new to website and I've been a fan for ages). Sorry that it's slightly negative.
Just wondering, is anyone else disappointed with the new reissue series? Why reissue two (relatively) recent albums? They're both strong albums, but are they in need of reissue yet? And the Wings' Greatest compilation is good but probably made redundant by Wingspan.
Meanwhile, many of us are waiting for deluxe reissues of Wild Life, Red Rose Speedway, London Town and Back to the Egg. Surely it's time for these records to get some attention - and all of them sold well back in the day.
Maybe it's just me, but I reckon there'd be a lot of fans out there waiting on those '70s albums.
Hi Jeffrey. I agree with you completely. I was particularly surprised when I saw that New was being reissued! Like you, I've been eagerly and patiently awaiting the resissues of the remainder of the earlier Wings and solo catalogue (Back to the Egg and Red Rose Speedway particularly) and was disappointed to see reissues of more recent stuff. The only thing I would say is that these reissues seem to be different to the Archive Collection series, which I hope is continuing and is more likely to take care of the albums you mentioned. The last one of those we got was Flowers in the Dirt in March last year, and I would like to think that maybe the next release in that collection is being worked on as we speak. Ive got everything crossed!
I was hearing 3rd or 4th quarter prior to that so it looks to be in line.
Well that makes sense then. I was hoping we'd get the album a bit earlier in the year than that, but better late than never!
How do you think this will affect any live dates he might do this year, Bob? There are rumblings already about some dates in South America in October/November, which would fit nicely with an album release in Q3/4. I presume he wont tour again until after the album release, in which case we might have some months to go before we get any news in that regard. I must admit though, im not overly familiar with his tour patterns - I find them confusing to say the least. I just hope he comes to say hello to us in the UK this year!
A little update of sorts on Paul's album - Geoff Emerick tweeted a couple of days ago;
"Thank you Paul McCartney for calling me the other day! Look forward to listening to your new record. I'd love to mix it and be a part of it".
and posted on instagram;
"Paul McCartney my good friend called me the other day and asked me to go listen to his new record. I hope to see him this week and hopefully get to mix it.."
So things are very definitely moving and now i'm really excited!! Bring it on!
