I think you're right, Charlie! Although the entertainment centre is closer to me, I secretly hope that he'll play Suncorp or maybe the convention centre; just 'cause it looks more classy! I'd hate to imagine him getting out to the Entertainment Centre only to find a giant, ugly concrete building surrounded by bush! That thing is such an eyesore!

I respectfully disagree. I think WHEN he comes...he will tour the country. I believed all along, a tour here hinges on a Japanese tour...in fact wouldn't surprise if he began a world tour here or in this region again... But it's all the question of WHEN??? I won't even entertain the notion of "if"... Looking at the venues of these one-off shows, they certainly are in odd places (ie) not places that are usually on a normal touring schedule, so perhaps his reasoning is to give as many people who want to, the opportunity of seeing him now before he sets off on a tour of the more predictable cities ? Anyway - just my thoughts...
Well, we don't know, everything's up in the air at the moment. Who knows what will happen? However, I do agree with the Japan notion - we definitely hinge on whether he tours that area or not. It would be very nice indeed if he started his tour here, though!

I agree completely, Cassandra. I don't see him doing an actual tour of Australia itself, just one gig maybe in Sydney or Melbourne before he goes off to another country. Which is better than nothing, you have to admit!

Oh wow, I had no idea! That's brilliant that he's coming out here, and to Brissy especially! Good luck on getting tickets! By the way, for all you other Brisbane-nites - I heard that an Australian photographer held a party for the Beatles at the Chiffley on Lennon's in Queen Street Mall, prompting John to remark that he didn't know his family owned a hotel! I've been outside the hotel a few times recently and it looks like it hasn't changed much since the 60's. Does anybody have any more info on this? Ta!

I can imagine, moptops! Any sign of snow?
Btw, if Paul ever comes to Sydney he'd be entertained with the idea of their Liverpool? I always thought that was kinda cool!

Ooh, I didn't realise we had gotten down so far! I'm good, how's everyone else going? It's getting chilly here in Bris-Vegas!

Why are you criticising his choices and performance anyway? I don't think fans have that right. If you're a fan of something, lo and behold it means you actually LIKE that thing. Leave Paul alone, some of us would be escastic just to see him perform live!
You're kidding, right?
I kid not, young skywalker.

Like it was said, there's alot of people who have never had a chance to hear those songs live before and aren't as fortunate as some of the board members to have seen a live Paul concert many times. Why are you criticising his choices and performance anyway? I don't think fans have that right. If you're a fan of something, lo and behold it means you actually LIKE that thing. I'm betting that foxtel might air it, but probably not live, because foxtel isn't quite as awesome as that. Maybe like that night for us, or the next night hopefully!
