I met Paul once at a booksigning in New York, where I also got his autograph. I had to wait in line for 33 hours but it was worth it, al 8 seconds

I twice did a high five with him, waiting at the artist entrance of a venue.

First time (Madison Square Garden) was with my right hand, the second time (Millenium Stadium, Cardiff) was with my left hand

And I once got very close.... being backstage for an interview that unfortunatelly did not happen. But we met the 2003 band, got autographs AND we got to listen to the soundcheck!

I don't he will release the full album before this summer. I even doubt Egypt Station will be an album name or a single title....

For what it's wortth: I think he will release a single first, maybe this week. THan built up a campaign towards the album and release that late August or early September.

Let's remember this gig today. It was 14 years ago, I was there. I even was inside during the soundcheck (near Peter Blake!) which , made it officially the longest set I have ever heard live from Paul. One of the best Macca gigs ever! Anyone has pictures?

I read you were looking for the osundcheck setlist of Pinkpop. There was no soundcheck as this was the finale of a 3 day festival....

I am looking for photos of all the concerts I have been to, before 2009 (in that year I took pictures with my own camera). With these photos I want to make a photobook. Since 2009 I do this with my own pictures of concerts I attended. Back in the days cameras were not allowed but I'm sure people brought them in so there must be something somewhere? On this day I saw my first Paul McCartney concert. As it is almost 25 (!) years ago I was curious if there are any photo's from this day and concert. Do you have them? It is such a special memory for me!

Holland in december is the same as Northern Germany. Around 0 degrees C. Sometimes rain, sometimes snow but it is OK. In 2009 I stood for hours in line in December and did not freeze to death

I must admit I was a bit surprised to be remembered that I'm a VIP, since there is no paid VIP membership anymore. I did take a look and it doesn't look very newish to me. it has the same look and feel, maybe a little more user friendly. It's a pity the Store is still not included in the site but everything there is works fine for me. I can imagine it works better on a tablet or smartphone but I don't use these for surfing. I have not downloaded Kisses because I'm gonna buy the physical format anyway. I just downloaded the Amoeba show, which I indeed already have save for the 2 extra songs. I was disappointed to learn that is was in mp3... I have mixed feelings about all this. I'm, disappointed with the Premium site gone. It is a good thing MPL tries to make up with goodies but as a long time fan this is not the stuff I long for. But, it has a feeling of being 'free' (except we all paid as Premium members) so I feel I have no right to moan. I hope some physical goodie will turn up, like a live cd with a complete concert. Or a concer of choice would be nice. Or, or, or.. well never mind. I'm gonna listen to the Amoeba show anyway.
