Just watched Macca performing 'Queenie Eye and I was blown away by the Sgt. Pepper "feel" to this song.It just exploded into a pounding rhythm which was hard to resist. I wanted to get up and dance too. Loved the addition of "unseen guests"--could be you or I-- but it was nice to see a few notables. I even thought one little girl looked like Bea. Paul is still on top of his game and this song should do brilliantly well in the charts. One person who I would have liked to have seen standing by Paul's piano was a certain Mr. Lennon. How wonderful that would have been.....

RE: PAUL AND NANCY ARE MARRIED!
If this is true, then I wish them both well. Paul certainly seems much more happy and relaxed these days. I hope that they are truly "in love" though and that it's not just a friendship which has endured the test of time. "Only mam knows" Good luck Macca--you deserve some peace in heart and mind. We are all hoping for the best this time. If this one goes wobbly though, there are plenty of volunterrs for Nancy's place!! Britanniax

I thought it was a wonderfully magnanimous gesture of you Paul to donate your time and energy for free. I wasn't able to be there as I am stuck down here, but I'm hoping that our paths will cross one day. I'd love to just sit over a mug or two of tea and have a chat... What is it they say in the states..? Shoot the breeze...? Lovely , lovely man with a very big heart. Take care. Britannia. xxx

If wishes were horses then beggars would ride..... Next time I'm home visiting my family ( in Hartlepool) I hope that I can make the trip down the M.6 and finally get to see inside Forthlin Road and then across the golf course to Menlove Avenue. There must be a tremendous amount of 'residual energy' in both of those properties and I can imagine the years rolling back and two teenage boys plonking out rough chords on their guitars between mouthfuls of fried egg sandwiches appearing out of the mists of time..... Oh well, we can all dream. Even better would be to accidentally run into you Paul in some shop or other like John Lewis'.That was one lucky lady out with her little one that day. Just how do we get to meet you..? Can't blame you for being careful though.------ I'd be a bag of nerves if I was a celebrity. Take care. We all love you lots....xxx

RE: A big hug for Paul
Dear Paul, Regarding the Spring clean of the N.Y. apartment----------- I hope that you manage to clear out a lot of 'items' which hold negative overtones for you or remind you of negative situations. I can't say too much without sounding provocative but I know you'll get my drift. People do what you are doing every day of the week and I feel sure it has tremendous therapeutic value. A word of caution.. I f you fall in love again , don't fall too hard or too soon. None of us want to see you hurt again. xxx Britannia.

Dear Paul. If you happen to scroll across this message, I'd like to wish you all the best with the apartment' Spring clean' in New York. I read that you were having something of a 'clean out' and a general 're-vamp' of the decor. I could envisage something of a 'Gentleman's Club' look for at least one of the rooms--very classy, framed lithographs, Linda's photos', leather armchairs, lot of lovely old bookcases and maybe even a kitschy globe with brass hinges----Gorgeous. With a view over Central Park you 'll want a great window seat too. Wish I could 'call in for a cuppa' and see it when it's finished------- Oh well, we can all dream can't we. As always, God Bless to you and yours.... Britannia.xx

RE: A big hug for Paul
I hope that Paul and his family are now given some peace and respite from the media circus which has surrounded his recent divorce. Congratulations to Paul on finally being able to walk away from a painful situation with his health and dignity intact. I hope that he finds happiness again with a new partner but does not enter into another marriage. I couldn't bear to see him taken to the cleaners again. God bless you Paul and good luck for the future.
