Watching the live feed and I'm curious, am I the only one that finds the giant glow sticks annoying? Man, I would hate to be around those things being waved all around and blocking views all night!
Agree...I was at Spokane show and I noticed them from a few rows away. It would be irritating if close to them

I heard the screaming thing in 2019 in Greenville, SC. Maybe he didn't do it in Vancouver. And I know I've heard the "police dept." story prior to that concert. Maybe in some interview he gave?
ETA: He did You Never Give Me Your Money in 2002 in Atlanta.. Maybe he told the story then? He also sang it when you saw him in San Jose that year.
As said in my post was referring to You Never Give Me Your Money AND Bathroom Window..he didn't do Bathroom Window in SJ.
Police Department line may have been said in interview but not in concerts that I have seen which is what I was referring to..same as screaming thing...maybe done somewhere else, but I have not seen it nor on video, but I don't watch all of his tour stops on you tube!
Yeah, sorry, brain fart. I realize the police dept. line is in SCITTBW. I swear I had heard the story before from him, maybe in that b&w interview he did with the guy with the long white beard and glasses? His name escapes me.
All good! bottom line I had a great time. Wish I could go to Seatlle, but schedule just doesnt allow it
Well, guess what? He DID do Bathroom Window before (2005 tour which I missed), but he didn't do it where I would have seen him (Atlanta) and lots of other cities. No idea where this is from, but definitely 2005.
he looks so youg...lol...yeah i was there in Seattle, but didnt do You never give me your money/bathroom window which is what i was orginially referring to...I liked what he did there with Too Many People and then goes into Bathroom Window. I think this clip is from San Jose and on Space Within US dvd...i should look at some of the old concerts ive been to...memory lane

Sorry Sold last night
All good!
Well, just got back home to BC after seeing the concert in Spokane on Thursday. We were on the floor/middle/row Y and was pretty good seats. Spokane is a quiet city tho!
Interesting to see the comments from the past few days. Some different perspectives! Have seen Paul 13 times and I did not have a ton of high expectations about the voice/setlist. I was just happy I could see him again;perhaps for the last time( or maybe not...lol) I noticed the voice was a bit weaker since I saw him in 2019, but it honestly did not bother me. I admire he is still putting it out there, but overall did not have a negative impact on me. I have seen shows of other artists like Lightfoot in the past where it was too noticeable on too many songs. The Band did a good job supporting him plus I thought the horns were involved in more of the songs this time around?
There was a coiuple of times where notes were missed by the band and they just smiled; it happens!
Setlist! I actually like Fuh You and Come on to me, but was surprised he played them. Overall, my preference would be to drop those 2 plus In Spite of the Danger, Queenie Eye, Mr Kite, Dance tonight. Also perhaps Letting Go and Let me Roll it. I liked Women and Wives and really liked You never give me your money and Bathroom Window..never seen that performed. My big take away was I've Got a Feeling. I thought that was outstanding and probably best time of the night. Not surprisingly, I have seen that clip on social media the most since then. My Valentine and Amazed is staying as they are for Linda and Nancy IMO.
Some of the same stories being told (lol) but he had a new one about being in a taxi and got the idea for "quit the police department" line..I think it is new? Also, he asked the women to scream like it is 1964..Loud! hadnt seen that before. Several of the people around us had not seen Paul before and blown away by playing that long. Live and Let Die was a showstopper. Guy next to me said he just texted a buddy saying Paul is 79 years old and playing this long??
I see some of the comments talk a lot about his voice and setlist and thats fine. Different opinion is ok!
2 hours and 40 minutes...36 songs..Saw Paul..sang along..had a couple of cold ones. Thumbs up!
