    • RE: MetLife Stadium, New Jersey - June 16, 2022 Confirmed

Decided to post on here for the first time in years! We were at MetLife and it was full of surprises and fun! First time seeing Paul since 2018 - it felt so great being back again. Fantastic night and great to be part of his birthday celebration with Springsteen and Bon Jovi!

Here's to hoping he comes back to the states next year. Small tours will definitely be the way to go, but some shows here and there would be nice. Truthfully, I thought his voice held up great and his bass playing is still phenomenal - He's still got it!

I would figure on more US Dates in October...maybe into November. Then, more EUropean dates (maybe not necessarily UK) spanning the end of November into December, preceeding those announced today.

Hope you are right. Seems logical,  but seems to be some are saying just go to Canada. Wish it were that easy! I haven’t completely ruled it out, but time is ticking on passports and my husband can’t find his birth certificate. Ugh!!!!

alright so I'm torn. No US rumors for the year, so thinking about Montreal for that reason alone in fear that will be my only chance.

Anyone know turn-around time for passports?

    • RE: 2018 Tours?

I've been so behind on the rumor mills, as life has been unusually hectic!   So playing a little catch up now.  Hoping for a return to Pittsburgh, as it's been several years.

Best friend is getting married this fall around the time of the rumored tour.. I'm in a real predicament if the wedding falls same date as show! ah!

But I do have some options being that friend lives across the country in San Francisco, and having 2 wedding celebrations. As of now, not planning to attend his SF wedding in Sept,  instead attending his PA celebration in October.  However, if local show falls same date as PA wedding, I'll fly out to SF for the wedding.  For once, Macca's not affecting my summer vacay plans, instead my best friend's wedding! indecision Yikes!!!

      Common Macca.. need to plan!!

Looks to be a very quiet summer

That's a bummer.  Usually plan our vacations around the shows, and being a teacher, it's convenient to see him during the summer months.

It's that time of year again... March usually seems to be a hopeful month in the Maccaworld. Hoping some negotiations are in the works and news starts to trickle out soonish!

I'm sure there will be a US tour .. just a matter of where. My personal hopes are for Pittsburgh to be a stop in the states.. it's been a few years!

Trying to get used to the new board here! I've been looking at either the dark blue style from 2002-2004ish ....to the dark black style from then until now.  The times, they are a changin! Anyway... as always... patiently awaiting rumors, although very early indeed! The hubby and I always start the conversation around this time of year..."So, where are we going to vacation this year to see Paul?"

    • RE: 2017 Tour Book

      mike carrera:

Differences between all "ONE ON ONE" Tour programs so far: (5 versions to date) 2016: -ONE ON ONE #1 APRIL- JUNE 2016 - ONE ON ONE #2 APRIL- AUGUST 2016 - ONE ON ONE #3 APRIL-OCTOBER 2016 All three with 68 pages, the only difference between the three are on pages: 4-5 with the current tour dates at that time and pages 60- 61-62-63- with the tour credits and venue credits. The photos, articles, etc are the very same. 2017: - ONE ON ONE #4 APRIL 2016- APRIL 2017- JAPAN Despite the obvious difference being written in Japanese, the differences between this 2017 program against all three from 2016 are: -Inner page behind the cover has a NEW Paul picture -Pages 4-5 with the current tour dates for that time -Page 8 has a new Paul picture -Page 10 has a new small size "audience fan" picture (a Japanese fan this time) -Page 11 has a new small size picture of Paul and Rihanna -Page 13 has a new small size Paul picture -Page 40 has a new medium size Paul picture -Pages 44 and 45 have the info in different order from the 2016 editions, different size of the album covers and also different size of the Paul pictures, including two new ones and also adding the "Flower in the Dirt" info not present on the 2016 editions of the program. -Pages 46-51 are ALL NEW, pictures and info about "Flowers in the Dirt" (the 2016 edition has info about Say Say Say/Michael Jackson and Linda's Veggie Food two page ad) -Page 57 has a new medium size b/w Paul pic -Pages 60-63 has new tour info credits -Pages 64-65 has a new full size Paul Pic -Page 67 has a new full size Paul pic Total of Pages: 68 (same as the 2016 versions) And now, compared with the current tour program: -ONE ON ONE #5 APRIL 2016- OCTOBER 2017- USA The same changes as for the Japanese tour book, but adding MORE PAGES. This version has 72 pages. -Pages 4-5 with the current tour dates until October 28, Mexico City -NEW PAGES: 54-59- Full of Sgt Pepper pics and stories -Pages 60-61 are now "Remembering George Martin" (on the 2016 versions and the Japanese is on pages 54-55) -Pages 62-63 are now the B/W pics (on the 2016 versions and the Japanese are on pages 56-57) -Pages 64-68 are now the tour credits , it has now one extra sheet from this (on the 2016 versions and the Japanese is on pages 60-63) -Page 69 has a full size picture of Paul, the same that is on page 58 from the 2016 and the Japanese versions) -Page 70 has a medium size pic of Paul, the same that is on all past versions on page 66. -Page 71 has the same new pic that is only on the Japanese version page 67. -And page 72 has the same half of the picture (the other half is on the inner back cover page) that is on all versions of the programs page 68 (and the other half on the inner back cover). Contrary, it has three pages LESS of pictures with Paul near the end (one will be EXCLUSIVE for the Japanese tour program pages 64-65 which was omitted on this new version and not present on the 2016 versions, and it's a GREAT picture!, the other picture omitted is on page 59 on all past versions) but adds one more for Tour Credits and two more for Pepper pics. The rest is the very same, same info, same front and back covers.

Wow, thanks so much, Mike! VERY detailed!! I'll probably pick one up at MSG in 2 weeks just to add to my collection. Thanks again for the information!

    • RE: NYC, NY - Madison Square Garden - 9/15 and 9/17 - CONFIRMED

Great potential call Gina. Billy and Paul really like each other so as long as Mr. Joel is not touring elsewhere, I can see it happening too. Obviously it would be very easy since Paul just has to include "I Saw Her Standing There" on the Setlist that night. PS I have been listening to Billy on the Sirius Beatles' channel. He has been reviewing some of the Fabs early albums track by track.

I've been listening to that too. Really enjoy when Billy hosts. I like his interpretation of the songs and their compositions. I'd bet that Billy will make a guest appearance at one of the shows.. just wondering which one? Was hoping I'd be at both shows but due to work, I can only make Sunday.
