Just received an email from CROWD SURGE saying my tickets for the Fenway show have been dispatched! I suspect I will receive them in a few days.

RE: Concert programes do you still buy one
TheDrake2323:
Were the programs $25 or $30?
Yes, the programs were $30. I think that is a bit high, but bought one anyway as I have a program from every tour I attended including Shea Stadium 1965. The programs at Citifield were $30 and I did not buy one there, but went to Fenway a week or so later where I got one for $25...don't know why they were different prices but glad I only paid $25 as I feel that is plenty for a program. T shirts were all $40 with the exception of the Baseball shirt which was $55. All XXL sizes were $5 more respectively. There was a sweatshirt with hood for $85 and a long sleeved shirt with a hood for $55. I thought $40 for the distressed baseball cap was also high..really worth $25-$30 but not $40 IMO!! The key ring I got last tour was $5 and the cheapest one this tour is $7 and most of them were $15. The $10 poster was the best value of all of the items but I do not have an inch of wall space left to use another poster. I got two shirts and the program in NY. We are going to both Montreal shows but figured it would be more expensive there as I think the Canadian Dollar is actually a few cents more than the US Dollar at the moment and if I used a cc they would charge the foreign transaction fees, too. I did find different style shirts inside the stadium than they had at the outdoor souvenier booths and other items like a set of collectible pins for $20 for four pins and laptop covers etc.

wow... this is kinda exciting... depending on what new songs Paul may or may not decide to pull out for this tour, we have the chance to see him play some stuff for the VERY FIRST TIME!!!
I guess we are all excited!! The anticipation is killing me. I expect to receive my tickets from Fed Express today and once I have them inhand will feel even more excited. Yes, JOE, the prospect of new songs is really exciting. I also think that being in New York for the opening of the new tour and playing at Yankee Stadium for the first time, is probably exciting for Paul, too! He seems to love New York and I have seen him on tv attending a Yankee Game, as well. There is always an extra excitement surrounding opening night of a new tour. Once a tour starts, there is not the element of surprise for the setlist but opening night...you never know!! If we get three or four new songs along with the typical warhorses, I will be happy. Now...good weather!

Just got an email saying that my CrowdSurge tickets w ere shipped!
Yes, me too. Just got the email saying my ticket are going out today, July 1 and the Fed Express tracking number. I tried tracking them but FedEX does not recognize the number yet...sometimes takes a day. Does FedEx deliver on Saturdays? With the holiday Monday, I really do not expect to receive them until Tuesday, but sure happy to hear they are going out today!! This delivery stuff makes me nervous as I had a problem with delivery of tickets once before. Yeah, Paul in two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are staying at the Days Inn, too. I suggest getting there early to avoid traffic (if you are driving) issues around 4pm. Everytime we have driven to NY, there is always traffic issues but seems to be worse around 4pm when people are starting to get out of work. This is also a FRIDAY which seems to be worse. We plan on arriving about 1pm to grab something to eat then go over to the Stadium to wait for Paul to come in for the soundcheck which is typically about 4-5pm. I was told that the hotel is about 3/4 of a mile from the stadium so an easy walk; 12-15 mins. or so. I so hope we don't get rain. That concert Paul did on night one at Citifield, we had rain for about an hour. Luckily, it was not a major downpour. I suggest rain slickers as they usually do not allow umbrellas. Though they told us NO UMBRELLAS at Citifield, we saw a few people who somehow got in with them anyway.

Hey guys any tips for navigating around Yankee Stadium, I'm coming in from out of town and staying at the Days Inn nearby.

Whats anyones thoughts on section A2?? Is that gonna be good? It looks like its too far over, am I just gonna be in fron t of a screen??
I ended up choosing A2. I found nothing available when the pre-sale started in A 3 and nothing was offered in A4 or A5. I decided I would rather still be on the side of the stage on the field rather than the stands far away or in the B floor section which is still a ways back from the stage. I have never been to Yankee Stadium, but would imagine that the set up will be similar to Citifield and Fenway. At the ballparks, I prefer to be on the field as close as I can get as the tiered seats are so far away from the stage. If it were an arena, that is different as it tends to be much smaller and more compact. I think you can get "into it" more being on the field in the A Section seats. I could not spring for the Silver/Gold/or VIP packages so the A3 section is good enough for me and still cost $279.50 plus another $30 in fees and shipping. I need two seats for myself and hubby, so still a good chunk of change!! WORTH EVERY PENNY A1 and A7 would have a more limited view, IMO but I think A2 is fine. If there are video screens, the will be on the side, up high and not impacting your view if the setup is similar UP and COMING TOUR. Just my opinions but hope this helps!

RE: Paul, on your next tour, please come to ____________ .
Hartford!!! There was serious talk about Hartford at Rentschler Field, earlier in the year, but that is not come to fruition. Hartford is central New England so the fans in Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire would be happy. Since the weather would be problematic for Rentschler now, the indoor venue in downtown Hartford would be perfect...was formerly called The Hartford Civic Center; don't remember what they now call it but Paul played there about 10 years ago, so its time to come back. New York would be fine with me, too. How about Albany? BTW, there are a couple of pipe bands in Connecticut so, Paul, how about Mull of Kintyre in Ct???? Rod Stewart had used them when he played Hartford a few years back...I am sure your team can find them!!

RE: What would you name Paul's next tour ?
