Fantastic show, Paul in NYC is the best thing. Loved every second of it. Bruce was fun. I saw him in the stands. so I knew something was coming. Paul kept mentioning how special it was to be in NYC, and the show reflected that.

RE: I've met him!
George was attacked in his home. Not sure he would take a uke from a stranger and play it. Nothing great about people prowling around his home. I hope he gets more security around his home.

RE: The Original Paul McCartney Picture Thread
Yes he wants to say Happy Birthday, but he's a stranger to Paul. It could have creeped him out. Sorry, I don't think it's a great thing to do.

RE: The Original Paul McCartney Picture Thread
He has chewed people out for hanging around his home. It's just not a good thing to do. Or to encourage people to do it.

RE: Has Paul changed?
It would be odd for him or us not to change. We all change, life experiences do that to all of us. I don't know if Paul and Linda didn't go to many functions. With the way the news is now, it's an instant photo. Times have changed.

RE: Has Paul changed?
Actually I have not noticed that at all. I've been to all the tours and I only see him with more enthusiasim.

RE: THEY SAY IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!
Happy Birthday Paul. May it be filled with love and laughter. Thank you for all you have done for me. Only the best of everything to you.

RE: The Original Paul McCartney Picture Thread
I agree hair is important to them, and they all have had many different looks, long, shaggy, spikey, shaved, business in the front, party in the back. Now he wears it long.

RE: The Original Paul McCartney Picture Thread
Yes he looks great in those photos too. He's not into haircuts these days, who cares. He's healthy & out with his lovely wife. That's what counts.

RE: The Original Paul McCartney Picture Thread
I think he looks great, and his hair is moving in the wind, also don't see a problem with that. He has a serious look on his face, maybe he sees the pap who's shooting the photo.

RE: Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors
Thank you stuartshire. A nasty virus can change a tour of a performer of any age. Much younger performers cancel a lot more often than Paul.

RE: US OUT THERE TOUR JUNE DATES RESCHEDULED: OCTOBER
yes it is more than a month, but the dynamics of rescheduling played into that time frame too. It had to fit in open dates, Paul's schedule. It's not easy to reschedule.

RE: US OUT THERE TOUR JUNE DATES RESCHEDULED: OCTOBER
They would not of taken the time and trouble to reschedule if the shows and Paul wasn't well enough to continue the tour. A month of rest is not unreasonable after a bad virus for the kind of job Paul has.

RE: Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors
I'd say it's good news too. Still doesn't mean he had surgery, it means he wants to be able to be in top shape for 3 hour plus show and traveling. Now we have a definitive start date for the tour.

RE: Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors
Me too Kimsey, not seeing any shows this US tour. I really don't understand why people assume we should get more information. We were told full recovery, we saw him walking in London. Might I add, good healthy posture which is important. No news of cancellation. Paul and MPL don't usually communicate much with the fans. This is standard operating procedure.

RE: The Nancy Shevell Appreciation Thread
This is an event in a NYC park. Nancy has gone to this several times w/o Paul.

RE: Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors
Depending on what the health issue was, doctors could know whether he should cancel or not. If it was a virus, and have no doubt that it was, he should hopefully be fine.

RE: Should Paul give his proceeds to the poor?
Paul isn't asking you to buy anything, he is telling you what is available. He is in business and sells a product that enhances our leisure time. It's not required or necessary to buy anything. We buy of our own free will and to give us pleasure.
