Nice to see the Macca Board still exists. I received my eight "secret demo edition" CD's (gatefolds and single pockets). They're nice to have in the collection, and it was nice to support a new release by Paul, even though it didn't quite make it to No. 1 in the US

RE: Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland, NZ, December 16th - CONFIRMED
Anyone get any good tix for New Zealand? I pulled up B3 row A. Far from the stage, but wife has back problems so decided to go with the space in front of the section. OK for Diamond pricing I suppose.

RE: Tokyo, Japan: The Dome, April 27/29/30, 2017 - CONFIRMED
Gary:
Why when you click on the date links does it say VIP tickets are SOLD OUT? How can they be sold out when the pre sales has not started yet? I was really hoping to get VIP tickets for 2 of us coming from Australia.
There was a brief window a few days ago - they went on sale by the promoter and it was by lottery.

Does anyone know roughly where the different ticket sections on the lottery are going to be? And what about the different levels of VIP?
Complete crap shoot. To be honest, there are very few good seats in a show at a baseball stadium, so just accept that and enjoy the show. Lots of the good seats are in the VIP packages - last time, just two levels. I think the cheapest was $800, and they were difficult to get because demand>supply. If you want to do VIP packages, certain countries in Europe are best because of all standing fields (get early entry).

RE: Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors
Has he been seen leaving the hotel/Japan? I suppose if he is just recovering from a virus, a suite in the Hotel (or wherever he is) in Tokyo isn't a bad place to be.

RE: Tokyo - Tokyo Dome - Nov. 18, 19, & 21, 2013 - ARCHIVE
Just returned from the show (November 21st). Setlist reverted to previous shows, with "Listen to What the Man Said", "And I Love Her" and "Get Back". As usual, the crowd was great, and Paul was hard at work engaging the audience and overcoming the woeful acoustics and vast expanse of the Tokyo Dome. I think this was the best of the Tokyo shows, primarily because his vocal performance was much better than on the two earlier shows - his voice sounded well-rested, and he was visibly concentrating on staying in tune while hitting the difficult notes - which he seemed to do with relative ease on this night. It was an impressive performance and a reminder that even at 71, he remains a remarkable vocalist.

RE: Tokyo - Tokyo Dome - Nov. 18, 19, & 21, 2013 - ARCHIVE
Just so no one makes a mistake - the tickets on sale at the box office tomorrow for the last show in Tokyo are "obstructed view" seats - the information provided by the venue is that seeing the stage will be difficult, so you will enjoy the concert on the big screens. 10,000 Yen ($100)

the debut of "Alligator" (which sounded great).
Ohhh I love this song!
Lucky you to have heard it live!!
He should quit teasing us & just do the whole album!
___________________________________________________ I got really excited. At first I thought Alligator and On My Way to Work were done in the actual show. While it might be unrealistic to even dream about Paul doing the whole NEW album, I am just hoping that he adds 3 or 4 additional NEW songs to the SETList in 2014. I will go practically anywhere in the US if he did this. Alligator, On My Way To Work, I Can Bet and Early Days would be fantastic.
I would think that a small session of the complete album, done at EMI and streamed for fans would be perfect.
