I had the most amazing experience of my life at Paul's Regina show at Mosaic Stadium two weeks ago! I got called up on stage, where Paul signed my wrist under my Let it Be tattoo. I got his signature tattooed on right after the show! I wrote about it on my blog, and I thought I'd share it with you! Sorry, it's quite long (and split into two posts), but there are a lot of pictures! Thanks! http://chelsisvintagevision.wordpress.com/2013/08/25/one-sweet-dream-came-true-today-2/
Congratulations, Chelsi...what a great story. Pretty amazing. That was three years to the day that my son and I were brought on stage by Paul in Philadelphia. http://www.examiner.com/article/father-and-son-live-a-dream-and-meet-paul-mccartney I'm sure you know, it's a day you'll never forget!!
Oh wow - how cool! I love your story! Congrats to you and your son - such a neat moment to share together! August 14 - it's our lucky day!
Thank you all SO much! I was afraid that the posts were a bit too detailed, but fans appreciate that kind of thing!

Last night was unbelievable! I cried so much. The girl who got her tattoo signed was so lovely, it helped soothe some of my jealousy at not getting picked...! Paul definitely looked right at me and read my sign, so that's good enough for me. For now anyway! What a perfect night. Nothing else compares to being on the floor at a Paul show. I can never go back to the stands after this!
She is indeed lovely and a dear friend, I all but cried when she tagged me on Facebook to let me know the good news!
Awwwwwww thanks! I wished you could have been on stage with me! I finally posted about the experience on my blog! http://chelsisvintagevision.wordpress.com/2013/08/25/one-sweet-dream-came-true-today-2/

NO PHOTOS of this show except 5 or 6 newspaper-type ones. Didn't anyone take a nice big Flick'r page full of them? How sad! All Paul's other "Out There" shows had 50-100 photos from loving fans. Its a shame the Canadians didn't feel that way about him too!
There are a ton of pictures if you look, especially on the "Welcome McCartney to Regina" Facebook page that ehwalled created. I also posted a lot on my blog: http://chelsisvintagevision.wordpress.com/2013/08/25/one-sweet-dream-came-true-today-2/ The fact that there aren't many pictures in the press shouldn't determine the Canadians' love for Macca. The audience in Regina was CRAZY EXCITED - I've never been to a McCartney concert with a more pumped up crowd. You have to remember that Regina is a small city, and our province has just over 1 million people. At the time of the show, the population of the stadium, 40 000, was the 3rd biggest city in the province!
Aww, thanks for being excited for me, despite having a similar sign. I did see you there and was like, "Yeah! I'm NOT crazy - someone else wants the same thing!" Thanks for being good about it. I love how the fans support each other. When a lady got called on stage during the soundcheck, I was, like you said, envious, but then also SO excited for her because she was so happy. Lol thanks about the blog! I really need to resurrect it. I was finishing my Masters/working and it had to go to the wayside. I want to use it more now. That's SO cool that our tastes are so similar, AND we're from the same province! Are you on Instagram? If so, my name there is gobeil_soleil! Thanks again for the kind words.

pood for paul:
Looks like Winnipeg and Regina are underwhelmed at Paul playing in their cities..... Where are all the excited fans????
I'm here, and DYING OF EXCITEMENT! I don't know where the rest of my city is.
I'm currently on my way home to Regina after going to the Winnipeg show last night. Paul sounded so good! His voice was awesome and it was such a good show! The Winnipeg Police Pipe Band joined him for Mull of Kintyre, which was so cool! Anyway, fellow Reginians, have you heard if there is anything going on in the city, Paul-related, over the next two days? Also, when do you think that Paul will actually arrive in Regina, or would he have gone there directly after the Winnipeg show? Or, will he actually stay in Regina at all? Sorry...so many questions! I'm just so excited for a show in my hometown, finally!

I'm going to the soundcheck, too. Are people meeting up before hand, or just going to the Amway for 4pm? Is the Amway open to go inside if I arrive before 4? I'm at a hotel about a mile away and am walking over, but don't want to stand outside early if it's raining or storming!
In St. Louis it was POURING, and they let us wait inside. Have a great time!!
The weather could not have been better the day before. Sunday was horrible.
I went to the soundcheck in Montreal in 2011. It POURED and stormed, and we had to wait outside. Luckily, there was some shelter. Paul's plane got delayed for a long time, too, so the soundcheck was really late. It was crazy, but still amazing!
