Having just seen the video posted above, my recollection quote was well off (!!!) however
"just gotta let that moment sink in" !!!!
"don't know how we're gonna top that"!!!!

That was just awesome.
After Ringo left the stage, Paul said something like 'wait until it sinks in what just happened there'!!!
It really doesn't get any better than that!!!
I love the repeats to be honest, it wouldn't be the show I look forward to without them.
The introductions to some of the songs, eg Blackbird get a little repetitive of course, but then I expect more than 50% of the crowd haven't seen Paul live before, and they should hear these little stories
I'll let the 'verified fan' presale go, even though I have Macca purchase history on my ticketmaster account, as we all went to our first Paul concert once. Just don't call it 'verified fan', because it's really just a random ballot for codes, and a percentage are therefore still going to be touts.
Paul's concerts always sell out quickly, but I've never seen it as quick as today! I had already logged into my ticketmaster account, had all the payment stuff pre-loaded, but even so, clicking in the second it went live, it was already 'no tickets available'!!!
'Bots' must have got a sizeable chunk of the tickets. Presumably these will be drip fed onto the reseller sites over the next few months?
I was lucky and got one a short while later with a little persistence - presumably a single ticket that someone didn't buy in time before they were timed out, or a payment which failed
Others have said it on other threads but a proper presale would be for people registered on here (not just in the last week) or maybe people who have bought something in the store here.
Sadly, having an O2 mobile phone, your gas and electric from SSE, or an American Express card counts for more. Or paying 4x the price they should be to get the very best rows.
Sorry, I'm ranting a bit, and I'm one of the lucky ones, so I will stop, but I'd love it if something could be done!
Yep, really good view in 101 Â (in my opinion) - it's the nearest side block of tiered seating, you'll be very close!
Got my ticket for the London (O2) show! Clicked into the sale the second it went live, yet even though I only asked for 1 ticket anywhere (!) it said nothing available. After a few minutes of F5ing got offered a seat in block 101, row V which is exactly what I was hoping for - side on not too far back - well chuffed (not with the rip off booking fees of course!)
One way or another I'll be there, however this Verified fan thing was a nonsense - should have been for people registered on here only, or with Macca ticket booking history
You can see the face value ticket prices by looking at what is available on Stubhub (an authorised ticket reseller site)
They legally have to state the face value price
Not going to spend hours researching it, but can see seats in the upper section are £125 (block 402) , £65 (block 408)
(the variance in prices depends on how near you want to be)
Floor A3, which is the front block, face value £143
Floor B3 (next block back) face value £125
Floor is seating (although everyone will stand)
Lower tiered seating (side) block 101 face value £125
Lower tiered seating (side) block 111 face value £142.75
Makes me cross that people can buy tickets and instantly put them on resale for a mark up. Oh well, should have got an O2 mobile phone!
Don't think I'll have a problem getting a ticket, probably a fairly good one, as I only want one, and singles are often on sale longer than pairs or groups of tickets.
Boooo!
Just got my email, and not one of the lucky ones to get in on the Verified Fan presale:
Due to extremely high demand to see Paul McCartney, you are currently on the waiting list to receive an access code for the Verified Fan on sale.
Remember, you can still buy tickets in the General Sale on Monday, July 16 at 10:00 (venue local time).
MOVING OFF THE WAITING LIST
Should additional tickets become available, registrants will be randomly selected to move off the waiting list, and provided a unique code via SMS to access tickets. Please keep in mind tickets may be extremely limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
8-11 is what he did the previous two times I've seen him at the O2. Really sad to see people looking at their watches and having to leave circa 1030 (to catch 'last trains' to outlying areas) because they didn't know it went on so late, so make arrangements that you can get to wherever you are staying (tubes to central London will be fine post-show)
If they go through Ticketmaster booking history, then amongst numerous tickets for musicals, hopefully they will notice I've bought tickets to see Paul before
Last time he was at the O2, the top price 'normal' tickets were £125 (plus all the booking fees and extras)
Literally just got mine in the London O2 'host venue' presale - a friend gave me the link via facebook Pleased I got an £80 one as the fees were an extra £14 (and this is face value!!!!) There are £65 and £125 ones still available as well. Just counting down the days now!
Was a bit weird for me. I got an email on Friday afternoon saying the O2 presale was on Sunday morning, logged in Saturday night just to check everything looked okay, and it turns out it happened on Saturday morning. Ho hum, at least there is the bunfight on Monday morning as back up. Will be there by hook or by crook but a bit weird that those of us who have been on here for years are equal to someone who signed up the same morning as the presale!
