Oobu... you bring the wine. Or water. Something non carbonated. I don't want the sound of fizz distracting me from the songs lol

RE: Paul's New Album-- "New"-- CONFIRMED
Both arms are still firmly in socket. And I will say that I caught myself grooving along with a couple of songs in particular... something also tells me that this album is going to sound great, and SOUND great at loud volume in the car.

RE: Paul's New Album-- "New"-- CONFIRMED
Okay... I will write a full review this evening. Repeated listening is required. There is a lot to be absorbed, and that is a very good thing. For now, my one word review is Yes.

RE: Paul's New Album-- "New"-- CONFIRMED
Well... this came out of the blue. I work in radio and am well known for my absolute love of Paul McCartney. From my son's middle name being McCartney to the tattoo of his eye on my arm... anyway... my producer friend just called me down the hall to show me what has arrived on the station's system... "New" In spite of the pride I take in the quality of my home system, and the fact that I would like to wait for the official release... I now have the opportunity to listen to the entire album through a set of $10,000 speakers... TODAY.

RE: Halifax, NS - Halifax Common - 11th July 2009 - ARCHIVE
My 10 year old son and I made it to the front row on the right hand side, and I told Jacob (my boy) that Paul loves kids, so be sure to wave... well I believe it was between On;y Mama Knows and Flaming Pie that Paul looked over and saw Jacob waving... he then pointed and gave a great smail and wave to Jacob that he'll never forget. I was wondering if anybody might have that moment on video? I was wearing a green Northern Ireland soccer shirt and was one person away from the wonderfully friendly lady from Mexico who threw the stuffed animal to Paul at the concert's end. I could be wrong on the songs, but I'm actually fairly certain... ps... what a night! and a long day to get front row... my son deserved that wave... and he's still on a high.

RE: Halifax, NS - Halifax Common - 11th July 2009 - ARCHIVE
A banner is a big ostentatious flag-like thing... a sign is the skies parting and a voice telling me "If you love his music your entire life, and make the journey to see him multiple times, he will come to you on July 11, 2009". Then a bush went on fire and the water in my bathtub parted etc etc... THAT'S a sign!

If I thought they'd let me, I'd take my hofner to wave in the air (and it's case of course)

Well my kids are making small signs... I'll leave it to the big mean security people to take away a 10 year old's lovingly made sign... These kids survived quebec... 300,000 in 30 degree heat. This'll be a cakewalk lol
