Setlist aside, Paul looks great on this tour. Sharp jacket and vest are a really cool look. He also looks more like he did in the 90s and not so super thin as in more recent years. And vocally he still sounds good on some songs, certainly way better than anything Jon Bon Jovi can pull off these days. Bon Jovi live now sounds like they've got Katherine Hepburn on lead vocal.

RE: Spokane show
Also, what on Earth is up with not playing Yesterday anymore??? His most iconic song and every show feels so incomplete and a letdown without it. And he can still sing it better than many others remaining on the setlist which are a real struggle. Truly boggles the mind...

RE: Set List critique
Funny all of the MPL Twitter requests before the show about "what would you like Paul to play on your dream set list." Lazy Dynamite? How about Lazy Setlist?

Hopefully he's finally let it go. It's been in the show far too long.
Speaking of which: What the hell is "Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite!" STILL doing around nearly TEN years later!?!
It's such a shame that one goes on and on, but Lovely Rita was in the set for about five minutes comparatively. They did such a good version of it.
Likewise regarding "Another Girl." Sounded incredible but stayed in the set list for about 5 minutes, never to be heard again.

RE: Spokane show
Something tells me we're not getting "No More Lonely Nights" tonight Perhaps an encore of Let Me Roll It to close out the show though.

RE: Spokane show
Can't Buy Me Love as the opener?? How incredibly disappointing.

RE: Set List critique
Wondering how With A Little Luck will sound tonight. Hoping Paul can still do that upper register rock & roll belting towards the end!

RE: Spokane show
Hoping for I Want To Hold Your Hand or Find My Way as the opener. Backdrop graphics in the preview suggest that Find My Way is on the set list. Some other London Town graphics have other boards saying that With A Little Luck might be on the set list, now that would be incredible! One thing is for sure though by looks of the preview, Paul ain't shaving before the show - going with that scruffy whiskers look

RE: Rehearsals !!
Hoping for either I Want To Hold Your Hand or Find My Way for the opener. Interesting that his team keeps posting requests for dream set list, wonder if that really means anything. Voice issues notwithstanding, would love to see even a brief reappearance of the Ric and Silly Love Songs. Oh, and hoping he ditches that awful unshaven chin whiskers look for the tour. Classic Paul please!

RE: MCCARTNEY III IMAGINED
Anyone seen this in the last couple of hours? McCartney III Imagined enters U. S. Billboard album sales chart at # 1! Don't know if that will translate to #1 on Billboard 200 album chart, but pretty darned amazing. Would love to see the new deepfake Find My Way single really ignite and get into the Hot 100 singles chart. It totally deserves to be a proper #1 McCartney single. Would take a miracle these days but who knows? His deepfake young Paul video is heading towards 4 million views thus far ...

RE: McCartney III Single
Just saw an update indicating McCartney III will likely be number one in the U.S. as well as U.K. What an incredible accomplishment! And the track Find My Way absolutely deserves to be a bona fide hit single on the Hot 100 chart . The "you never used to be afraid of days like these.." line in the chorus sounds like late 1970s Paul, just fantastic, best thing I've heard on a Paul single since the "Now that I'm alone again..."chorus on My Brave Face.

RE: Paul interviewed on podcast "Smartless"
Wow, cool that Brian confirmed rehearsal of NMLN. They would've played it together at least a few times to try it out, gotta be at least a rough recording of it somewhere. Wix also confirmed a few years ago that Silly Love Songs had been rehearsed (about 10 yrs ago). His voice around that time could've handled it on a good day.

RE: Paul interviewed on podcast "Smartless"
Amazing they started talking about No More Lonely Nights. Was hoping Paul would sing along just a snippet when Sean Hayes sang the line "and if it takes a couple of years to turn your tears to laughter." I'd be over the moon to hear Paul sing any of that masterpiece, even in his current voice. Would be so cool just to hear 2020 Paul sing "I can wait another day...". It was rehearsed for the '02 tour. Gosh I wonder what it sounded like then...

RE: McCartney III Single
Not a great sign that there will be no single. Means there isn't one track strong enough / commercial enough (i.e. solid enough vocally perhaps) to merit putting out. Imagine McCartney II with no Coming Up. Kiss of Venus sounds like a good melody but vocal preview on that one sounds shaky. Hope it turns out to be a great record for Paul - the no single thing though is rather concerning.

RE: 2019 Soundcheck Setlists
Simply astounding that he is not playing I Don’t Know at the actual shows. Best song on ES and was the lead single. And WTF is up with not playing Yesterday anymore? His concerts now feel incomplete and a letdown without that one near end of the show.

Does Paul still autograph a couple of things from stage at end of show?
Curious whether he still does this. Been at his shows over past 10 years and have seen him sign an album or 2 from the stage and toss it back to fans in the front rows. Anyone see him do that lately? Thanks!

RE: Thursday 23rd May 2019: New Orleans LA - Smoothie King Arena - confirmed
Setlist is just so stale. What a disappointment. Freshen up? Really?

RE: Thursday 23rd May 2019: New Orleans LA - Smoothie King Arena - confirmed
Betting its the same opener, same everything. Sigh... How hard would it be to put I Don’t Know (best song on the album) on the set list? How about Helen Wheels for an opener? Yeah right.

RE: Set List critique
How on Earth does he not play I Don't Know live? It's been rehearsed and is the best track off ES. How about bringing back Another Girl or She's A Woman? How about opening with Helen Wheels? Forget lazy dynamite, how about lazy setlist?

RE: EGYPT STATION
And how can it be that I Don't Know is not on the set list? Best song on the album. Whole thing about still learning the new songs sounds like couple years ago when he said they were "working on" getting some tunes from Flowers onto the set list.
