Yes, indeed. It's all such a mystery. It's useless to argue---and unintelligent. Follow your conscience. Follow your heart; it's the seat of consciousness.

Help the animals!
Please "Like" "Pets on Death Row" on Facebook to see the mug shots of cats that desperately need to be rescued from kill-shelters in NYC. It breaks my heart whenever I see all these lovely felines condemned to death for lack of publicity. Some of them are absolutely gorgeous! If you can, please help to publicize these kitties who deserve a second chance! Also, there is an organization in NYC that pulls pets from kill-shelters. Please click on the link below and volunteer to help in any way that you can. http://www.animalalliancenyc.org/index.htm

RE: just one word to describe Paul
I would say genius. Heard Paul's name mentioned along with Albert Einstein's on an NPR program the other day on the topic of brain function and had to whoop and holler!

RE: upset over new vitamin c research news but is it really true
tony conley:
SusyLuvsPaul:
is this a 'conspiracy theory' sparked by paranoia, or is this 'codex' for real? i need to research and investigate this. i don't understand how all vitamins and minerals are 'removed' anyway, i know some are lost through over cooking and improper storage, etc., and the plants disintegrating or 'dying.' the writer larry mcmurtry once said he doesn't believe in the existence of vitamins. he thinks it was all fabricated. that they don't exist. now wouldn't that be something, if it were true...(is it?) i've read that 'americans have the most expensive urine in the world' (from peeing out vitamin supplements they take) an aside: some believe all plants 'want to live' too, they don't want to be eaten, either and they suffer from being plucked up out of the soil, chopped up, cooked, etc. but we've got to eat something :
I love Genesis 1:29. It states all we ever need to know about nutrition. New International Version (1984) Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. New Living Translation (2007) Then God said, "Look! I have given you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food. English Standard Version (2001) And God said, ?Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. The removal of life force from what we ingest is indeed the greatest conspiracy ever used agianst mankind. When we stop killing, we'll stop dying. Plants aren't sentient beings. Big difference. David Wolfe is one of the world's biggest advocates of a living (raw) diet. Everyone should read some of his work. He's got it right. Eating dead matter isn't what we should be doing - we should be ingesting life force. Plants give themselves freely, unlike a fish with a hook in it's mouth. If you putt an infant and a lamb on a desert island together to grow up, the infant would NEVER eat the lamb, nor would the lamb eat the child. Plants give themselves as compost quite naturally.
You make some excellent points, Tony. And as a footnote, I would add that Monsanto is trying to play God.

RE: VEGETARIAN RECIPES for newbies and the rest of us
mustangsally10:
Hi Arlene sorry for the delay in my reply. I was out of town and away from the net for most of the last week. I recommend a 'net vacation' now and then I think it's great for mental health When we have cold weather here it's so unusual that I always forget to dress for it and go out without a coat or gloves etc....that is why I got such a bad cold so the main thing I have to do is remember to dress warm! I bought some green bananas to try out the Banana and Yam stew...I can't wait...I'll let you know how it turns out. I love France...all of Europe really...I wish it was easy to just pick up and go
It might not be easy, Viv, but it might be imperative! For me, it's reaching critical mass..........We aren't getting any younger, you know!

I've racked my brain and can't think of another truly serious contender, and I consider myself both fairminded and reasonably knowledgable.
I'm with you, Tony!
