RE: Paul, Come To Australia
So how do you purchase presale tickets through paulmccartney.com? Clicking on the presale links takes you to Ticketek, so how do they know I'm registered? As a member do I still need to register? And there's no way to "login" on paulmccartney.com. Can someone please enlighten me? Thanks.

RE: Paul, Come To Australia
Article in The Advertiser has quotes from promoter Michael Gudinski: Frontier Touring head honcho Michael Gudinski, who's been chasing Sir Paul to tour Down Under for almost 15 years, said time restrictions and the sheer scale of the show meant an Adelaide show was simply impossible. "Look, I would have loved to have had Paul McCartney for six weeks and put on a show in Adelaide, a show in Tasmania," Gudinski said. "If I could have done that, I would have. I know that it's unfortunate, but that's the way it is." A spokesperson from Mr Gudinski's office said, "Paul McCartney was only available for a certain period of time for the Australia-New Zealand tour. The logistics of moving a show of this size and the availability of dates ultimately dictated the markets that could be included on this tour." http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/south-australia/rock-icon-sir-paul-mccartney-confirms-australian-tour-but-adelaide-to-miss-out/news-story/c83c06f29ad7755cb1be0fb6ace331da

RE: Sydney, Australia, QudosBankArena, December 11+12: CONFIRMED
Can a Moderator please amend the thread title? The stadium name is Qudos Bank Arena not Quidos. It's also misspelled on Paul's website page for the Australian/New Zealand tour so 5th Beatle must've done a copy and paste. Cheers.

Greystoke Apparently the Ashes are on between 2nd and 6th December. However, they could use the Entertainment Centre, the venue in Sydney only takes 20,000 apparently. I've posted on Frontier touring page along with lots of others. Perhaps you could do that too? I'm going to Melbourne and hopefully Sydney but would love to see him at Adelaide Oval!! Cheers Chrissie
Yeah, I only just realised the cricket was on here between the Perth date and Melbourne date. Still I would've thought the touring schedule could've been played with to get around the problem. Then again, maybe there would have been other clashes so it couldn't be helped. That said, there are a few alternative venues here but unfortunately, none with the capacity of Adelaide Oval. Although I think several things seem to have conspired to keep Paul away from Adelaide I'm sure the promoter and Paul's people looked into it before deciding. Doesn't make it any less disappointing though.

I am shocked he's not coming to Adelaide to be honest. Anyone know the reasoning behind this. The reason I am disappointed is I was going to take my granddaughter to the concert, she's 16 and a big fan, but can't afford to take her to Melbourne. Cheers Chrissie
I'm not surprised. I had a feeling we might miss out. Adelaide was off the radar of all promoters for years but recently we've been getting all the big names, so I can't fathom it. Something to do with Paul's camp, the promoter or both. Money? Logistics? Time constraints? Dunno. Will look at interstate shows but I'm not necessarily locked in to attending one. Not happy Jan!!

This crowd is quiet by any standards never mind South American standards!
So different from the crowd here in Brazil, who received more shows than Argentina but is ''WOW'' in every song
Wait until Tuesday, meu amigo... Concert started very early, perhaps due to some kind of curfew. Stadium looked pretty full to me. Paul's voice was on the same level as on previous gigs, failing here, there and everywhere (pardon the pun) but when you're there singing along, it doesn't sound as bad as on periscope or youtube videos. Fool on the hill was pretty bad. Setlist was exactly the same as previous gigs with less banter between songs (no Hendrix story for example). Crowd was seated in front of the stage (unlike shows in Brazil) but once Paul hit the stage, everybody got up and rushed to the fence. It was a bit quiet at first, perhaps because of the cold, but then there'd be chanting between songs and the band would jam to those chantings and it was super cool. My pretty face was shown on TV singing along to songs I was told. The concerts on Tuesday and Thursday here in La Plata will be standing admission only in front of the stage so it should be a very noisy typical Argentinian crowd. Questions?
OK I get it. So if you pay money to see Paul McCartney and you sing loudly so you can't hear his shot voice, it's a great concert. Righto.
LOL!!

I don't think repeating the same negative comments are productive. : I hope everyone that attended tonight had a great time!! Looking forward to October!!!!!!!!
And I don't think repeating the same comment about repeating the same negative comments is helpful either. It's a forum where people can post opinions.

I will need to create several different accounts for several of my friends asked me to bhuy tickets for them. That's what happens when they know you as "the crazy Paul McCartney fan"
Good luck to us, we will need it!
Prices are pretty high for concerts in Argentina (much higher than Stones in February) but I am confident Paul will sell out anyway. We expect a lot of Australians to come and enjoy the shows here
No chance in hell.

I guess I'm not helping much at all! STAY POSITIVE AUSSIES!!! PAUL MAY YET WING HIS WAY DOWN UNDER!
He may, indeed.
If he does, Robert, I'll happily have a pint with YOU!

RE: Beatles LOVE show at the Mirage
Not my cup of tea. Found it boring both times I saw it. Bunch of mimes and acrobats prancing about whilst daft mashups of Beatles songs play. I'd rather watch paint dry.

The Fabs were tearing it up everywhere before they landed at JFK. Typically the septics were last to cotton on...but ok, if it make ya happy, yes America discovered The Beatles.
Indeed.

That is unless they decide to keep away from Zika virus spreading mosquitoes.
Ron Wood's wife is pregnant with twins. Presumably she won't be going. Taking into account just how much this Zika virus has snowballed out of control in just a week, might the Stones get cold feet and pull the pin? Not just the band, who ARE old men after all, but big bands have crews of a hundred or more. I can't see anybody keen to go there - if they had an option.
My thoughts exactly. This virus is getting scarily out of control by all reports. If I were a 70 year old I wouldn't be going anywhere near South America at the moment.
