    • RE: Paul McCartney 2021 - Rumours

I'm afraid that if the tour was cancelled, it's because Paul is not sure if he will want to tour next year and doesn't want to be bind to it.

Said that, I think the fair thing would be, if he tours, try to play in the palces where he was supposed to this years.

I'm very sad now, because I was going to take my daughter to see him and she may have lost her only chance to see a Beatle live recently after she had asked me if she would never bee able to see them. It was a big happiness when I managed to get some good tickets for taking her to see him and now we lost that chance. She's angry.

I understand the cancellation, but I would not understand, if he tours again, to tour to a totally different part of the world before the places where he was supposed to go.

      I hope not cancellation.

I was so happy that my daughter would be able to see him... She recently had said dadly if she would never be able to see a Beatles concert, and I told her she wouldn't be able to see the Beatles or John, but if there was a chance I would take her to see Paul, hoping he would come close someday. And there he was! So I bought tickets and made her happy... until this all happened. I just hope she can see him someday.

Well... I liked it. It was a really different version. Probably you are used to hear the songs like they sound in the album. Me, as a Bob Dylan fan I am, I'm used to it and I like those kind of things.

The songs you were asking for sound too obvious for me.

      I think he did well.

Sorry fans, but you just know he will sing Hey Jude with Elton, Billie, and the rest. That is almost a given.  Since he probably has only a setlist of four or five songs, he is going to play songs people know.  My guess is a setlist of Hey Jude, Jet, Yesterday, Love Me Do, and Band On The Run.

I like the way you are thinking Wingsoverkc.  If he is truly Solo in this performance, however, I would see him only doing 1 or 2 songs at the most.  It's now less than a week so we will see fairly soon.

With the amount of artists listed for the show, he will do at most two songs IMO. I can see him doing one song by himself and then maybe "Let It Be" with other artists joining him at the end of the song. Like you said, we will see soon.

I know by local artists that have been doing Instagram live miniconcerts these days that is really difficult sing along with someone else that is not at the same place, because threre's always some delay. So, I don't think there will be an alltogether song unless they previously record it and coordinate it.

    • RE: Barcelona, Estadio Olimpico June 17. - confirmed

Didn't manage to get tickets at 10am at Ticketmaster. When I selected some places it said that weren't available. Soon only the most expensive seemed to be available. I decided to try at 12pm at LiveNation.

Then I managed rapidly to get tickets in a very similar zone I was trying earlier (3-4 rows back) and for 135€ instead of 200€. So I guess I was lucky.

It will be my 3rd Paul's show, and my daughter's first.

Don´t deviate from the subject. Let's talk about Paul's concert in Barcelona. No politics, please. Thank you.

All came from someone asking why Pauls was coming to a country where they allow are bullfights. I tried to show it's not really that way.

In fact he comes to Catalonia, where we banned bullfights although the Spanish government forbids us to do so like many other things.

In fact, he doesn´t. He comes to SPAIN. I'm sure he doesn´t even know what Cataluña is hahahaha.

And please, don´t lie to the good people in this forum. The central goverment allows Cataluña not to have bullfights.

I was just saying that because of the bullfights being forbidden in Catalonia and then Spain forbidding us to forbid it. But You prefer to show your abusive nationalism.

I am really excited about this. I've seen Paul twice but I'm looking forward taking my (by then) 4 year old daughter, who is already a huge Beatles fan and he told me in some occasions she is sad for not being able to see a Beatles or a John Lennon concert, and I let her hope see Paul or Ringo sometime. Now she has a maybe unique chance, although the showtime is somewhat too late for her.

Now I wonder which kind of tickets will I be able to get and what would be a good place for her.
