Do we feel we may have seen the last of Paul on the stage now given the covid situation?

RE: Has Paul played his last concert?
I think the problem is,and im citing Roger Daltrey on this,if Paul or Roger in this case) doesnt use his voice he will lose it for good,he sounded awful doing Lady Madonna the other week (so did most of them in fairness) so i think its a coin toss if he does a big tour again at this point,i really dont see much live music anywhere this year, already theatre bosses are saying itll be well into next year before they open again,so who knows when live music will return?
After all its not just the artist you have to consider, its the band, the roadies, the stadium staff before you even get to the audience.

RE: Liverpool, UK - Echo Arena- 12/12- CONFIRMED
Great night, much better than 2015,he really seemed to be enjoying himself, the set list a nice selection, the band as ever in top notch form nice to see him do the three hours not often get that nowadays, would have loved to have had penny lane included but ive seen that already so it was no biggie it not being there.
Merch a little disappionting the t shirts bland for my taste so didnt bother,a rare event for me.
So quite possibly the last time i'll see him in the flesh,i hope not of course but you never know.

Liverpool: Penny Lane
Glasgow: Mull of Kintyre
London: Wonderful Christmas Time
I daydream about this all the time
I saw him play all three of these songs live at the Echo Arena on 20th December 2011.
...and zero of these when I saw his show in Liverpool in 2015, haha... Not a single special touch.
It was a little flat in 2015 wasnt it..mind you a flat night at a Paul concert is still very special, but you need those touches to make the gig one to live in the memory as 2011 still does for me.

RE: EGYPT STATION
Not going into any great depth on ES other than to say its easily his best album since Flowers in the dirt, honestly didnt think he still had this sort of quality left in him,and his voice yes it sounds tired and old..it is tired and old and his songwrtiing relects this and just adds to it.
If,and i hope to heaven its not, this album is to be Pauls swansong its a hell of a way to sign off,but trouble is we know theres more to come from him the man seems invincible, but will it reach the same sort of quality? i doubt it myself,i rate it that highly.
But this is Paul and if nothing else he always surprises everyone.

RE: THE 'FRESHEN UP' TOUR 2018
Great discussion from both of you if you will allow me to put my take on it it’s this,if Roger could fill larger venues then he would and yes he would charge more too, they all do it they’re in it to make money to say otherwise is utter nonsense, limited merch? All that means to me is he can’t sell a wide range so why stick yourself with gear you can’t shift?
i saw Bruce on the river tour a couple of years back, yes his tickets where reasonable I paid more for Billy Joel for instance, but I found his merch really expensive Roger Waters on The Wall tour,a show I’d have expected to be very expensive but ticket wise I thought good value,it was the merch which made your eyes water price wise.
point I’m trying to make I suppose one way or the other artists one way or the other are after your spending money they don’t do this for the good of their health just the good of their back balance, that any artist declined in popularity plays smaller venues they have to work that bit harder for their corn,it’s up to you if you think they’ve earned it.
to finish I wonder what price tickets for Paul if he did a Springsteen type show?
